Man I need part of this. I'm at 6 months and my beards about 6 inches longer than his.in 8 months mine was 15 inches from the bottom of my chin. . Mine grows crazy fast.

So glad you did this. At soon to be 45 years old I’ve never understood why a young man would want to look older. I shave regularly and have been dying my hair for years now. I don’t want to look like an old man!

@@craigherriot4026 Look at Eric's Instagram story right now, he literally has a hospital gown on at the dermatologist telling people to get their skin checked regularly. Also go watch Beard Brand Alliance's video on it, he explains it there and talks about the mole. Partner you're taking another man's beard wayyyy too seriously. It's hair, it grows back you know. But you are actually half right as far as creating content- of course he does it for content! Otherwise why would he film it? Hahah. The best part of shaving a beard is growing it back. Relaxx.

@Aurva Roy Not black men, and certainly not Indian and Arabic Men. Clean shave looks "good" on mostly white and oriental asian men.
@Aurva Roy No I think you misunderstood me. I wasn't saying there are certain ethnicities that should not grow a beard (in my personal experience, all ethnic groups look good in beards if they choose the correct beard style).
What meant was, for those who do choose to go clean shaven... that's when some men will not look good as a result of ethnicity.
What I'm saying is basically like women and hair.
ALL women from all ethnic groups look good with hair if they choose the appropriate hairstyle for their face shape. But for those who choose to rock the bald look (not including cancer patients), ethnicity will play a role in whether you look good or weird.

Where I live, where have people from all over, So get to meet all kinds of bearded and non bearded people, and know that many factors can affect how you look without a beard (and ethnicity is part of it).
Even something as simple as hair texture (European with orange hair or african with curly hair, or arabic with deep black straight hair) can affect what beard style looks best on you.
When it comes to being clean shaven, the same applies. Something as simple as jaw structure and lips (European men tend to have wide defined jaws and skinny lips, African have fuller lips and narrow define jaws, Indian have skinny lips with wide soft jaws, oriental asian men have semi wide jaws and semi skinny lips, etc) can affect how you look with a clean shave.
Even in the bodybuilding world, it was discovered that having a darker skin tone makes your muscles look more defined on stage with lots of light, so everyone else started spraying darkening bodypaint before a contest.
Your genetics and ethnic background always determine how you look in certain clothes, certain hairstyles, certain beard styles, etc.
This is not to say that one ethnicity is better than another, no. What I'm saying is.. because we are so different, one style what works for one group... may not look so good on another group.

Been having a beard for about 6 years and only completely shaved it off about 4 times and usually would trim it down every soo often.. Got into safety razor shaving recently and decided now to just leave a goatee so I can enjoy wet shaving but keep some facial hair.
Sometimes it feels amazing having a clean shaven face after soo long, the feeling of water on your skin and eating without the facial hair in the way is nice.
Also as a Dentist it makes me happy to see your top teeth Eric!
That was one of the strangest things to get used to in the office!

Man, you were my guru when i was growing my first long beard. I completed the 1 year beard challenge because of you. I think both - beard and shaved face look good on you! I am currently thinking about cutting my hair i was growing for over 10 years but it's so hard to go for it.

Not bigger, it’s fuller, and that’s the point of the style.

Hey Bro.... My opinion may be slightly biased because I can't grow a beard but, as my mom would say to me, "you couldn't look bad if you tried" !! Also, I don't want to get too personal but you have very cool eyes, and great hair!!!

Lol It's amazing how you go from MAN to boy in a half hour... but if I was blessed to have facial hair like you, I would wear it every single way you had it for a month and always be changing it...AND always be SO proud of it. First thing I said after i shaved my 4+year beard off was that I'd be growing it back. I won't even lie, it was an emotional process , especially hitting that point of no return mid way. Almost like instant regret. I'm a year two months back into the "new" beard. Just started a new job recently and thought I'd have to shave it off but opted to chance walking in and sussing the place out and if i was asked to of course I would shave it for the job. But thankfully they're cool with it so I'm just going to keep it growing. And although it didn't take long, maybe a couple of months to get some length into it, it felt like it was taking forever. I don't think I'll ever shave it off again.

No way: beardsctache and mustache....(huge) mustache does NOT do your face justice and it hides your teeth
Verdict: you’ve got a great look without the beard (and def without the mustache). Plus, it’s a good look when people can see your teeth (again)
Question. Should you shave your beard when fine hairs start to sprout out (fill) in those patchy areas, or just let it grow and wait for it to thicken overtime?
Grow out/fill in. You can wait for a hood beard.

As someone with incredibly, redicuously, insanely sensitive skin, watching him apply the balmf for the first time in the video made me wince. Most of it was of course going into to beard, but there was of course a lot of residual that was getting on the skin too. That thick material resting on the skin. OOOOOFFFFF I'd get HELLA breakout
