Allison, to update you on my own dining reservations for the Alaska cruise on the 27th, I am all booked! I have a 7 pm table for one in the Ketchikan Dining Room for the evenings of the 27th, 31st, and August 2nd. Then I have the Chef’s Table on July 28th with the Catch by Rudi at 7m on the 29th. Then the Crown Grill at 7 pm on the 30th and Sabatini’s at 7 pm on August 1st. So I am all set. Still waiting to see the details for the Chef’s Table, but probably won’t find out until onboard.
I'm heading to Alaska in Sept. Going to Denali for 2 nights. Hope the fires get put out quickly and that everyone stays safe.
I was able to book Main Dining on our Antarctica cruise in January. We are Platinum.
We are on Carnival Horizon. Cozumel closing port on July 4 so rerouted to Nassau. Grand Cayman cancelled July 3rd. We visited Ocho Rios. People didn’t seem to worry about the storm. I am worried for them and hope they prepare for the storm.

I’m blue card and I was able to make my MDR reservations on the Regal Princess. No issue with app so far. Maybe because I only have one cruise booked right now in the system? Not sure, but it works great today.

Got the update- cruise in 60 days won’t let me do dining reservations. I’m elite and fully paid. But I did make all my reservations prior to the app update. I noticed no calendar icon to look at reservations but they do show up in the journey view.
I have the current app, paid in full and elite. The deck 7 dining only gibves 9 pm time. September 23rd Sun sailing. I called Princess and they I think are still having issues. Because All my other cruises after I was able to book.

Years ago, when I was on a PNO UK cruise, a fight happened in the buffet, and all of the people involved were banned from all Carnival Corporation cruise ships, not just P&O cruise ships.

I am sitting in a room at Mt McKinley Princess Lodge. I was scheduled to go to Denali lodge today. Tomorrow we were scheduled to do our Denali National Park tour, then we were going to ride the train to Fairbanks the next day. Now we were just told that we are going straight to Fairbanks. 3 days in Fairbanks. 3 days in Mt McKinley. No Denali, no train. While they can’t help it, it is not the trip I waited 62 years for and booked 522 days ago.
Update: we are skipping Belize and going to Cozumel one day earlier, tomorrow (Wed), then a Sea day, and then Nassau on Friday. We just left Roatan and it’s rocking and rolling a bit. Lots of wind.
How do you know which dining room offers the traditional 2 seating dining at same table? Thank you. Love your channel.
If you pick a restaurant and go to the next page it allows you to check private or shared table, if private isn’t shown go back and select another restaurant. When I booked our private table for the same time each night it brought up an error message which said to try again later, I checked the my journey page and it showed the dining reservation for each night of our 12 night cruise, also showed on the dining reservation screen for each individual night.
Seems the error is the error message popping up, at least for me.

When I tried again, I noticed that for one dining room, it offered only 2 seating times, 5pm and 7:30pm. So I assumed this one is the traditional dining, so I booked 7:30pm for every night. Hope this helps others.

Have the updated app and I cannot reserve dining for August 2026 on the Sky Princess. It lets me go all the way to the last button (I can choose dates, times, etc.), and then it says Oops, something went wrong, try again later. Oh well, I do have time so must be patient.
Still not able to make dining room reservations. CROWN, September 24th, fully paid elite. Reinstalled latest version. Can only book private table.
I can't make reservations on the Sun in September and I'm fully paid elite also. Calling Princess is a waste of time as they couldn't get my reservations made either.

Attitudes and alcohol on Carnival is why we don't sail them unless there's no other cruise.
I like what Carnival offers but sadly they attract too many low class sorts. I might cruise a seven day cruise with them again but never ever a shorter one.

I was able to make main dining room reservations today for my cruise next summer on the Majestic. I couldn't yesterday. Maybe it was too busy with everyone trying? I booked it all in the Symphony DR.
Hi Allison, you wanted to know if anyone was still having difficulty in booking their dining reservations on the Princess app. Well, as of tonight, July 2 at 11 PM Eastern time I still cannot book my dining reservations for my two cruises for next year and I am fully paid and an Elite member. Just a FYI

Go to the day first. Then choose the time. The glitch seems to come from trying to choose the room first. This solved my problem.
@@sharonbrooks9141 you were right, the only way I am able to book dining was by going to the day first. And that only allowed me the choice of the dining room on level 5 in the Piazza. The other 2 dining rooms were not available to book.
The reason I concluded was that one dining room is now anytime dining and one is set time of 5:00 and 7:30. There is only dining room for those wanting to schedule times.

Hi the medalliion part on the app is not working correctly. i do have the updated app, i received email saying medallion was shipped out end of last month but app is showing that i need to order medallion and pick up at port but i called Princess and they told me that on their end its showing they shipped out the medallion and for me to diregard what the app is showing. I heard others are having the same issue
Not really happy with their dining change. The dining room we had on Discovery in April is now the “walk in” with no reservations allowed. Hopefully, maybe the waiter we wanted again will be in the dining room we were able to make our reservations. We will check when we get on board in October.
I booked our dining yesterday. The app said it wasn't reserved but when I came back to try again today it was reserved.
Exactly what happened to me. Plus I had to go to my apps page to force an update.
There's no guessing. it's almost always Carnival.
I had all my dinning reservations booked for all my cruises. I have to eat early for medical reasons. We prefer a private table. Now two of our cruises , all that’s an available is SHARED tables. Any suggestions ?

I updated the app. It was glitchy. I had to try many times and I finally was able to get dining reservations for one night. I had to go into each date to book the same time. Really not a good app.
The app doesn't work on my phone or tablet on Royal Princess. Can't update any dining using the latest version. I'm Elite.

Still can't book dining in Allegro DR on Majestic Princess even though Platinum. Wearing out the keyboard trying. Very frustrating and disappointing.
I had some problems at first booking my dining in Allegro on Majestic yesterday, it helped me to book each individual day then click reserve when done...
Still no luck……deleted and re entered. Version updated……still not able to book anything. I qualify for being able to pre book and still…..nothing
I'm elite and have the latest app, yet could not book any dining room for the first night of my cruise next March. I checked all three rooms and it said there was no availability on that date.
Go to the day first. Then choose the time. It will place you in the only room which allows unique dining times. At least that what solved my problem.
