Alex, thank you for sharing wonderful videos. You truly make our world a better place. I wish you continued success in your new endeavors and much happiness in your new home! You are a perfect example of what a good person is all about 😀
Seeing the camera reminds me of Josh's vlog where he wanted a new camera for his mother, but when he visited Alex (or his twin brother Allan) at the shop all the cameras were gone.
When my husband passed away two years ago I had a 4-level house and garage filled with his boxes, things I had no idea he even owned! So many boxes of computer cables and parts; many, many beautiful knives; a roomful of cameras and accessories; and, all his expensive watches (not vintage). I am still finding things including a Cross pen and pencil set just the other day! I gave my son most of the watches, all but one camera (he has a minor in photography) and all the knives. I gifted a friend a Ruger handgun that I never allowed in the house (I hid it in the garage so even my husband couldn’t find it), donated his whole wardrobe to the homeless men’s shelter and took carloads of stuff to a thrift store that donates all their profits to the poor in our town. He and I had separate tools 🛠 🧰 so that is one big job I haven’t yet tackled. Alex, I think you were very wise to let go of your collections for your dream house and I fully understand what a relief it will be to sell all the shop merchandise. It can really weigh a person down in mind and spirit.
There were a couple of nice watches but you chose the one that I like the best too. The Canon AE1 camera brings back memories of when I worked for the local newspaper and used one. They were a great camera.
Yes...don't you just love it when you find a package or 2 that are still sealed...and like you said forgot totaly what is in it...HO Ho Ho....just like christmas....
Love all these pens and watches! Some cool knives too! Watching this reminded me of when every Christmas, my grandmother would have a very small package wrapped in tissue paper with ribbon and it was a Cross pen and pencil set or a Sheaffer pen and pencil set! I always thought it was such a nice gift and I still have them to this day! Grandma gave them to all us kids!
I love the unboxing events, so much cool stuff. Hope there are are lots more in the future 😃 Got to see Melissa’s vlog earlier so now my day is complete!
My husband has the autograph of Ali when he was still Cassius Clay. He has it in a box along with the pen it was signed with. Ali grew up in Louisville which is where we live.
I'm a newbie to your channel. I started with the musician house last week, so cool to see your plans now coming to full version. Hope to visit Canada one day. You have a beautiful Family mate, digs ya's ❤ from 🇦🇺
Seeing the Cross Pen Set, reminded me I actually have a Gold Cross Pen, with my name engraved on it. I have no idea where it is. I think it was a Graduation from High School Gift. 45 years ago !
I think I got one, too. I just can't remember if it was for high school or college. About that same time frame though...can you believe it? Where has the time gone?
The Canon AE 1 camera was my first camera. I became an editorial photographer and I had a 43 year career as a full time photographer and I traveled a great deal and I enjoyed a wonderful career. I am now retired.
I bought an AE-1 in 1982 when I was in high school. I sold it 10 years ago as "digital has taken over and I need to sell this before it is totally worthless." I sort of wish I'd kept it now!
Oh this all reminds my of the 1980s tobacco stores in our area: they would sell lighters of course, but also watches, pens, cameras and knives. As well as magazines and candy. Big warehouses weren’t a thing in the smaller towns back then.
The Sheaffer with the gold is part of the Botanical series and is fairly new. The others are older. The silver pen in the green box looks like a Townsend ballpoint, and the fountain in the red box looks like a Targa or maybe a Prelude. All very nice pens with reasonable value.
Wow, simply amazing and well deserved! Couldn't help picturing the whole family pirouetting around the house in some sort of Curiosity Inc./Nutcracker ballet mash-up. 🤣😂
I can imagine it being fun... Heeeey, a box I missed....what's in it?! I mean you've been so so busy, it's no wonder there are a few mystery boxes here and there. This was fun to watch, .,.ehm... yeah. 😁
The Box of pocket knives... that looks like a grandpa's lifetime of gifts that the grandkids didn't know what to give him. Wait. watch collector... I'm having de ja vus of Madam Rac's house. Mutliple copies of similar things. Knives, watches, and pens. Cool little box!
if that iPhone was still fully sealed it would sell for around $1000-1200 for the 8gb. a fully sealed 32 gb is goes for like $7000-8000 Cad. an opened and unlocked good condition 3gs is like $50-150 cad. sometimes more or less. also depends on the specific model number.
The straight razor actually looks like a melon tester knife. There are lots of collectors for them. Many are advertising pieces. Gov't issue or better brands can be worth a couple hundred bucks. Thanks Bruce
I remember when you bought the building you’re using for your store currently. I remember the nice people who sold it to you and I remember you and Patrick (I think!) going and picking up those old store shelves! I am so very sorry I never made it to Canada to see the shop in all its glory. But I hope the new renters will love it as much you do. 🙂 I was just wondering, Alex, where are you going to store your finds when you go out on picks now? Surely you don’t want to clutter up the new house with things waiting to go to auction! What is your plan? I am Sure you have one!
Wishing you well Allex in your future plans but you still come off as overly stressed v. past videos... not sure if you need them but sending good vibes your way anyway!
Alex, thank you for sharing wonderful videos. You truly make our world a better place.
I wish you continued success in your new endeavors and much happiness in your new home!

I love finding "forgotten" treasures from past collections we have purchased. 😁
Nice episode and cool treasures ☺️
Seeing the camera reminds me of Josh's vlog where he wanted a new camera for his mother, but when he visited Alex (or his twin brother Allan) at the shop all the cameras were gone.
Well, that was fun! Lots of goodies
Please keep opening everything with one hand...I get a perverse pleasure out of reading the complaints and GoPro suggestions every time 😁😆😜
oh me too! Same old same old! 😜😜
Anyone can do what he does with two hands. It takes a real *pro* to do it with one hand. 🙂👍
David, *exactly!* 👏
I hope that you will still get the mystery boxes. They are great fun to watch you unpack!
Hi Alex thats.very cool 😎 hope yu and your family have amazing weekend

Some very nice things! My brother had a travel alarm like you showed at the beginning in the 60s. I was 10-ish and thought it was so cool!
That floral pen made me sit up a bit. It is a lovely piece and right in my corner of what I like. Neat and fun box!
Hello Alex good to see you again 👍🌈🌺🦋😊😘🙏🏻God Bless from Edith in cairns Queensland Australia 🇦🇺. Cheers!!!
Love finding stuff I forgot about in the house. Great video Brother Alexander. Thanks for sharing 😀 👍 ♥️ 🇨🇦 🇺🇸🌎🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯💯
When he said, "That's not a knife," it made me think of Crocodile Dundee when he said, "THAT'S not a knoife! THIS is a knoife!"
I love finding stuff I’ve tucked away!
That was quiet friendly fun on a Sunday morning
Glad you found something nice you can keep.
I always love your random finds.
I remember in the 80's when double wristing SWATCH watches. Ah..the 80's were so wonderfully weird 😆
Super find and lovly watches and pens
When Alex says SPECIAL pile he actually means, I'm going to keep 😜👍
Alex, you should make a esty store page, or Ebay page. I bet a lot of us viewers would love to be able to shop your goods! I know I would!
We will likely use Kastner for online auctions for a while

Thanks so much for sharing your treasures with us. Learned about watches and cameras is always knowledge to have. Great video!!👍
This is like putting on a jacket and finding money in the pocket you’d forgotten about. Nice surprise!
My husband has the autograph of Ali when he was still Cassius Clay. He has it in a box along with the pen it was signed with. Ali grew up in Louisville which is where we live.

Good assortment of stuff Alex. Thank you for your stream, always enjoy them.
Here’s a little update on the photo. Mohammed Ali’s daughter Rita is now the mayor of Peoria, Illinois. I don’t know if she’s the child in the photo.
Fun Stuff. My favorite piece is the giant wristwatch wall clock. I think it would look great in your new basement game room or your media room,🙂
Seeing the Cross Pen Set, reminded me I actually have a Gold Cross Pen, with my name engraved on it. I have no idea where it is. I think it was a Graduation from High School Gift. 45 years ago !
Same here. I have no idea whatever happened to it. I graduated in 1974.
I think I got one, too. I just can't remember if it was for high school or college. About that same time frame though...can you believe it? Where has the time gone?
Mine was in 1979! S'pose to be a writer!
@@dencobear6135 , very similar to me...lol. Did it work for you?
@@sand3882 It did kind of work for me but not like the gift-giver wanted. Best thing I can say is.." I'm not dead yet!". Lol! ❤
There was some good quality items in that box; some of the knives looked pretty good!
Great find keep on keeping on Alex.
What neat finds! You have such a great eye for treasures. Can't wait to see what else you find in future Loved the watches and . knives.

Cool little finds in the closet. Have a great day

For sure
Tissot, Longines & Omega are all made by the Swatch group! Good finds😎
I think overall my favorite type of video is Alex unboxing and telling what each item is.
Wow, simply amazing and well deserved! Couldn't help picturing the whole family pirouetting around the house in some sort of Curiosity Inc./Nutcracker ballet mash-up. 🤣😂
Lots of cool stuff in the box.
"A pimp and a guitar player" - that cracked me up!
👍👌👏 Great purchase again! Congrats! Worth well over 1000 bucks? More 2 to 3000 bucks!
Alex, The watches special. Keep those in the special pile. Nice finds.
The iPhone 3GS was the first one I owned :) I loved the curved back :)
I'm thinking those binoculars that fit like glasses would be good for sitting on your porch bird or critter watching into the woods. :-)
I think they are actually microscopic lenses .... so they wouldn't do too well for bird watching!
Hi Alexander, happy to join you today. 👍
11:49 "That's not a knife..." - Nice Crocodile Dundee reference..LOL
Nice finds!
Very cool finds !! ❤
Absolutely beautiful!
I can imagine it being fun... Heeeey, a box I missed....what's in it?! I mean you've been so so busy, it's no wonder there are a few mystery boxes here and there. This was fun to watch, .,.ehm... yeah. 😁
I would be interested in the binocular glasses.

Funny how those "special piles" never seem to leave the house...had a couple of my own!
Will u see if ur boys would be interested in having one of those nice watches? Nice box of items!
I like the Tissot watch and the Longines!
that giant watch clock would look cool in your new garage, a nod to your love of watches. :)
I got a giant wristwatch clock for a wedding gift in 1990. The strap was hard type of plastic though and I think it broke in one of our many moves.
Lots of fun. Found a couple to bid on.
I 💚 the fancy fountain pen. A few nice watches too.⌚️TFS
WOW what a great box of forgotten treasures. Should bring you a pretty penny.
Alex-if the magnifying glasses are available-I am interested!
I could see Josh wearing the large watch on his channel!
Neat find, I thought the big wall watch could go in your office Alex.😊
I need a pair of those binocular glasses - nice!!!
Hi Alex! This was fun to watch, thanks!

You should give that beautiful pen to Melissa! I’m not a pen person but I love that one!
I love all your movie references cause I “get” every one! Lmao
There was a Mora kniv. One off the best from Sweden.
My Dad had that alarm clock.... I would love those magnifiers!
I still have the travel clock somewhere.
If those magnifiers are prescription glasses then they can’t be used by everyone. Lets hope they are just normal ones.
Pretty cool collection!!
Cool video, Alexander! Awesome seeing all those watches. (And you scoring one for yourself!) The never been used iphone 3g cool too.
great video really enjoyed watching.
The straight razor actually looks like a melon tester knife. There are lots of collectors for them. Many are advertising pieces. Gov't issue or better brands can be worth a couple hundred bucks. Thanks

I bet that was a nice surprise to find that 👋🏼

that was a fun watch
Just squirreling stuff away? There's a name for that, Alexander. Lol. Nice little hoard.
The phone that would have "transformed the history of phones" would be Nokia 3210 LOL
its all pretty cool but i was very fasinated by the knives and the swords and the watches
You’ve done so well for yourself and your family! Get a hands free do you can use both hands! You are a wonderful person!
😅
Nice finds
I kept my 3GS I turn it one once and a while for nostalgia sake.
Pen is mightier than the sword.
a couple of those Bulova watches were accutrons which makes them a bit more collectable
Wishing you well Allex in your future plans but you still come off as overly stressed v. past videos... not sure if you need them but sending good vibes your way anyway!
“Special Pile” means Alex’s pile. 🤣
Enjoyed. Nice haul.
The Ae1 was popular when I was in Thailand 1972-73. They sold at the BX for a little over $300. That was a month's pay for me, I did not get one.
You're gonna need a golf cart to get around that big beautiful estate
Alex, what was the white watch you did not pull out of box? Was it a Bulova Accutron with a ceramic band?
Awesome again🎸🎸🎸🎸
YOUR OWN LITTLE TIME CAPSULE, IN THAT FORGOTTEN BOX @ HOME. Do take care. Fl., U.S.A.
I'm so excited for you and your family! It's been quite a transformative process in more ways than one.
