This is the town where I first got exposed to gang territories. It's been a couple of decades ago but I was driving just south of the Phoenix downtown area and I noticed as I passed through a residential area , the people on the sidewalks and porches we're shouting me down and telling me to get the hell out. This gringo had unwittingly trespassed into the gang areas. It was only a couple of days later that I realized what had happened. I wasn't really mad just kind of surprised that I stumbled to upon one of these areas and was rudely shewed away. They can have their crappy gang lands. Phoenix must have a fair amount of crime because the jail system complex was super massive. I know all the badass gangs inhabit this town. But I don't want to down-talk Phoenix, overall the area was fairly nice.
That first street shown was the first place i lived in phx back in 2016, definitely a bit of an eye sore but overall wasn’t too crazy. A few shootings, 1 murder & my homie got his car stolen there. Aside from that just a whole lot of tweakers with shopping carts & homeless walking around.

Trona, Darwin, & Eastside Bakersfield....
The first two will blow your mind!🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Trona? Really. Try Blythe or Needles.
I grew up in Phoenix and I'm glad I left. There's NOTHING to do in that wretched city. It's so freaking boring, all you see is dirt everywhere, it's ugly as shit.
Now I live in south Florida and it's perfect. The beautiful beach is a 20 minute drive from my home, we have martial arts centers, theatres, we have Miami night life etc
Phoenix is a dirt shit hole I'm glad I live in south Florida now.
Born and Raised in Phoenix, AZ and i truly despise this lame boring ass state!! I don’t know why people keep moving to Phoenix there’s nothing nice or attractive about it.
You got to got to maryvale and the southside
So many Phoenix neighborhoods look the same..so many beige slump block houses and adobe style. I lived in Sunnyslope area (7th ave/Butler) then Biltmore area (24th & Missouri)...some nice mid century houses near there (between Bethany Home and Montebello around 12th st). Used to commute out to Chandler, downtown Tempe, Scottsdale...hated the freeway traffic, would often take Van Buren from Tempe...that street was pretty sketchy in places..and never went west of the 17.
Next time let us know what streets you going down...looks like broadway. I miss the valley of the sun. The Popo hot af lol
A few streets down from sunnyslope road.
@@hesatwitchyone was just gonna say looks like the Sunnyslope area where I grew up. It ain’t THAT bad.
You gotta go night my friend .
Sunny slope area.
Lots of people have died there, even thought the hospital is just a few blocks down.
Why do you only show the HOOD ???? We would like to see the nicer areas also. I'm from Patetson NJ so I know it's hard to find nice spots in some areas but there out there
It’s his thing man. It’s like asking McDonald’s for a whopper.
fastest growing county in USA retired Chirac goon trust me all races of women like our culture it aint whr u frm its whr u at, monopolize each one teach/reach one
Every Phoenician hears "Indian School Rd" and immediately shivers.
All that sun slopes has is a bunch of tweaker hahaha
You're a legend.
Phoenix has a bunch of geekers and ice addicts.
Do salty shores in LA
It's poor but it's pretty clean for a hood.😄
You ain’t go to the right place bro if you woulda went close to Avondale you woulda saw it all.
Your NOT driving NOWHERE NEAR the HOODS tf you completely trolling Az !!! Murder high asf and you driving around unknown areas. Stop with the foolishness !!! Next time let it be known you tryna slide thru hoods !
Hope you went to Detroit Coney Grill, Carolina's and Chino Bandido while in town.
NICE AREAS IN PHOENIX AZ.......TEMPE.... CHANDLER....MESA.... SCOTTSDALE... TOLLISON....GILBERT.... GLENDALE....
There’s more nice and good areas than bad areas here in AZ lol. idk why people try to make AZ sound bad 🤣🤣😂
Nobody outside at day time because the freaks come out at night 🌕
Still cleaner than the good LA neighborhoods!
Well it look like to me. they don’t have to worry about cutting grass.
when your neighborhood actually comes up on a here.🤣
Where
That first street shown was the first place i lived in phx back in 2016, definitely a bit of an eye sore but overall wasn’t too crazy. A few shootings, 1 murder & my homie got his car stolen there. Aside from that just a whole lot of tweakers with shopping carts & homeless walking around.
Come to tucson!
It looks nice fr
I must have missed the hoods
Phoenix ain’t too bad. If you mind your business no one will bother you. Usually south of downtown and the west side are the red flag areas. But you should be fine
My city baby
I lived in Phoenix from 1972 to 1984, it was getting weird then. Can't imagine how it is now!
Should have hit the east side and south side or west phx too maryvale area.
Anytime Charlie does some place that has a few palm trees in it, the comments are flooded with people saying "that doesn't look too bad!"
Newsflash, climate =/= quality of living
Anywhere in maryvale
Not sure if its due to weather conditions or what, but it seems like the roads on the west coast are maintained alot better than the east. As a roadworker I notice these things. xD
CharlieBo313 - how often to people stop you in the street when your cruising through the hood?
Damn didn’t even hit the real barrios
A whole lot of latins there
Me gusta!
@Audi Bleu it’s Latino down here u must not be from AZ as I see from ur comment

Most hispanics/Latinos do have native ancestry
So what?? Latinos run AZ 🇲🇽
This place looks like a surburb
It's just the poorer area that's all
There ‘s some parts of Phoenix Az areas that are rough ..
People in Arizona realize that during the summer time it's best to stay inside
Dude, i tried to do this once without recording and i was scared. Literally a whole different world/vibe. Lowkey scary. And you did this so close to sunnyslope area too. Check out frys and parks.
