    Thanks, I thought about adding an outside filter but after watching this, I may follow your lead.

      No it doesn't drip. Just a little bit that's left in the neck after you fill up a glass of water. It definitely turns off when you turn off the faucet.

    Do you just disconnect the blue lines in the offseason when you want to winterize? I'm guessing you wouldn't want to put RV antifreeze thru the filter!

    I have one of those (a very similar one) and they are nice however the filter needs a strap to better secure it to the wall because they do bounce and work their way loose as you drive.

      I was wondering about that and intended to put one on but I haven't done it yet. Good call.

    Great video! I noticed that the faucet has a slow drip when you shut it off, really noticeable since I typically watch videos at 1.5x speed. 😉 Has this been an issue?

    so will this work when NOT hooked up to municipal water? we mostly boondock... wondering if the water pump is strong enough to push water through this filter.

    Hello. I live in a northern climate where I usually blow out my water lines before freezing. Would I do the same with this filter?

    • @fullmoonadventureclub
      @fullmoonadventureclub  5 років тому

      I think blowing it out might work. But to be on the safe side I would probably just remove it as it's pretty easy to do. So you can just place the filter inside and turn off the water valve to make sure it doesn't leak when you get back in and forget to reinstall the filter. I'd have to do some more research to know how to winterize that particular kind of filter.

    How do you replace the filter inside the housing?? I've got a MK99 and i can't figure it out. And there isn't a single forum post or video in the entire world on how to actually REPLACE the old dirty filter.

      Mine came with two large white ring wrenches to unscrew it. But I have never needed them I always just untighten it by hand. Once and screwed you just put in the new filter and reattach it.

      Usually with your motorhome engine, your tow truck, a generator, or plugged into Shore power with a charger.

      @@fullmoonadventureclub sorry i should have been more specific....i live in a house....when i doing dishes warm water ect.....will that water go through the filter before reaching the sink ? Or does the regular stop flow into the filter allowing it to flow normally how it would had the filter. Not been in place

    • @fullmoonadventureclub
      @fullmoonadventureclub  4 роки тому

      @@MRB1199 the warm and cold water to your sink still flows normally. But there is a small valve that attaches to the cold water side of the sink that goes through the filter and up out of the filter faucet when needed.
