- Matthew divides his Gospel into alternating sections of narrative and discourse, each operating to draw out a fresh perspective on just who this Jesus character is, what his message is, and how we are invited into it. By crafting exactly five discourses, Matthew aligns his Gospel with the five books of both Psalms and Torah, showing readers that Jesus’s words constitute nothing less than a new Torah-a redefinition of how to be human. I bought the course and am about 1/3 through it. This is the first course from professor Wright I bought and I’m so glad I did! It’s forever changed the gospel of Matthew for me, even after 30 years of reading it.

Professor Wright. I look forward to this study on the book of Matthew. Your perspective on the Bible, God, and Jesus is well thought out and researched.
I doubt though, that I'll see the entire series. I believe youtube is shadow banning you. Although I am subscribed to your channel, I am rarely notified of new content and there is a distinct lacking of percentages of times your videos show up in my feed.
Mostly, the only way I know of your content is to go directly to your channel daily to see if new content is added. It's unfortunate that youtube hates Christianity so strongly. There are other platforms that do not do this. Maybe it's time to consider moving to one of those.
