    Hello everybody!
First off, I've finally linked all of my sources, including the test footage from Fallen Kingdom I used for scaling the Jurassic World Mosasaurus. However, be mindful that some sources I used may not be accessible to the public, and I'm happy to clarify anything on my discord server. I would like to thank you all for the support and overall positive reception of the first full scale animation for the channel! It really means the world to me and I'm excited ti make more animated videos going forward.
In terms of the subjects I would like to cover, and the reasoning behind the new channel name "Nature's Compendium," I would like to encompass a variety of subjects pertaining to the natural world and the history of life on earth. My main focus will be on the evolution of certain animals, marine biology, tropical rainforest ecology, and reconstructing lesser known prehistoric ecosystems like the Pisco formation.
While "How Scientifically Accurate" is not going to be a focal point of the channel, I will continue to produce them alongside the main animation projects I hope to create.
Lastly, while the general reception of this video has been very positive, I am still grateful and appreciative of all constructive criticism. One of the most frequently brought up points is how the audio balance with background music and sound effects was distracting and too loud in certain parts. I will be sure to address this in future videos and be more mindful when working on the SFX design.
Again thank you all for watching and I hope you look forward to the future of the channel!
The next animation video is going to be on Sperm Whales, so stay tuned! 🐳🐳🐳

The Mosasaurus in Jurassic World is twice as big as an IRL mosasaurus. My guess is that the reason the creators went with this feature was because if the Mosasaurus was accurately sized, it would not be able to drag the Indominus down into the aquarium.

I think it is more closer to roughly 84 feet in length, which is still massive. Forced perspective on some scenes does change how we perceive objects.

Missed the series, but the wait was definitely worth it. Your animations were amazing and flowed nicely followed by researched facts which never fail to teach me something new. Can't wait to hopefully see more scientifically accurate with this style, it may be a bit too early, but have you considered also analysing prehistoric depictions in other films/shows/documentaries, such as walking with dinosaurs' allosaurus.

Superb animation work, my dude! And I like how the video is structured too.
And to all the folks preparing to spam the "Jurassic World isn't mean to be accurate because they're not real dinosaurs" line, I will mention again that since they are using the real taxonomic names of the animals, they are not exempt from criticism. I'm not even touching on the fact that the "Genetically engineered" excuse is super vague and hand-wavy anyway.

Megafauna is still alive in the oceans today.
Mossosaurs were a dominant fauna, but the giants in the ocean during the mesozoic were ichthyosaurs, which got as big as the biggest whales [including blue], some filter feeding fish and possibly sharks, but sadly sharks dont fossilize very well, especially the filter feeders with their little teeth [bones are cartilage].

The writers of JW were really smart to include that one line of Dr. Wu explaining why all the dinosaurs (I know they're technically not all dinosaurs, it's just easier to write it this way) look so different. Because of that line we can get awesome videos like this that explain what the dinosaurs really looked like without taking away the entertainment value of the movie

This is amazing work in this video here. I adore the animation and the research here. And just to add, I've always felt the Jurassic World Mosasaurus looked like the Liopleurodon from Walking with Dinosaurs, mainly 'cause of the jagged teeth and jaw.

1:23 I think you meant toxicoferans, not "toxiferans"?
    1:40 You misspelled Aigialosaurus.
5:26 What are the five stats?
    8:06 You misspelled pseudo.
The lack of a forked tongue is another inaccuracy that could be considered major.
Great video and production value! You've come a long way since the first PK update vid and JWFK Carnotaurus video! Looking forward to what you have in store for the future! :)

if i saw a mosasaurus in real life i would actually pass out and hope it eats me while i’m unconscious so i don’t notice..... wait.... when you die, would it be like... falling asleep forever? think about it.... you pass out before dying, you wouldn’t know you died, but you couldn’t know you died... what would your consciousness do

    Things it got wrong:
    1. Size, and how often that changes
    2. Teeth
    3. Tongue
    4. Osteoderms/that crocodilian armor on its back
    5. Tail fluke
    6. Vocalizations
    7. Several characters called this animal a dinosaur, but it’s more closely related to monitor lizards and snakes than to dinosaurs
