Thank you very much for this. I am currently waiting for results from genetics to see if I have clEDS. I find it quite difficult to find any structured information on this particular type, so this has been very helpful. Thank you

She said they found a new type of EDS but my older daughter is 38 and she have very soft long starchy skin and her thumb go way back. She bruises and if get a cut all her flesh come out. My younger just got diagnosed with EDS I believe it's a very rear type. Too long symptoms to type. Me too is some type. I learn to live with whatever I have.

My dad is showing signs of this type of EDS. It runs through his side of the family tree. I have Classical type. My sister looked up the different types of EDS and sent them to her Rheumatologist, she has Osteogenesis Imperfecta and Fibromyalgia. My dad is 75 but just looking at him no one would know that. He was hyper mobile as a child, too.
