There used to be a station at Inveresk which closed in 1964. Roger inspired me to go there today to walk along the Esk although I didn't go and visit Inveresk Lodge Garden but I've been there before. Interestingly there are two railway viaducts over the river together. A newer one which carries the ECML and an older one which isn't used anymore. Saw plenty of TPE, XC and LNER trains.

I’ve seen deer in and around Hunter’s Quay, Dunoon. I also saw my first stag last week when travelling on the Far North Line. It was beautiful
