Huh... Tau displaying a battlefield stratagem that the Imperium seems to be struggling with after 10,000 years: When the enemy's eating away at your superior range, step back and get more range!
I got a little worried for the tau when I saw the tanks were bombarding their backline, but then the tanks got WAY too close and things changed real fast
Funnily enough, the Tau backing up into the plains and then slaughtering both the Eldar and Chaos fits perfectly into Tau lore. Tau war strategies comes from when the Fire cast were more hunters than warriors, so they treat fight battle like a grand hunt: Holding ground is pointless, heard the foe to where they will be the most vulnerable, and then make a single (or as few) decisive strike to shatter their battleline/resolve. If they are engaged in a losing battle, fire and retreat, staying mobile to force the foe to over extend where other elements of their army can cut them off and then engage in the previous strategy. Tau view last stands as a sign of incompetent leadership and incredibly moronic AT BEST!
Tau Tactic: Frist Step: send in the Kroot to di... Serve the greater Good and push chaos back 2nd Step: watch the Kroot getting slaughter 3rd Step: use the space you gain through the Kroot Sacrifice and back down while shooting your enemies to pieces.
That was wild, that would be cool a voice over for it and just come up with some fan fiction. "Lakes of blood obstructing the enemy formations" how freaking 40K is that?
Sick of all these factions being stronger than the imperium. They have over powered all the factions and taken all the greatness away from the space marines. Normal tau defeat Steve marines. I’m seriously getting to the point of quitting, after 30 years. The marines are just too weak now!!!
This was Chaos versus tau? There weren't any marines on the table. And marines in this game are pretty damn strong, they about match the crisis suits for fire power, and at least match the plague ogryn for melee damage and tankyness. Both are very impressive.

Honestly if the kroot just didnt try to solo the entire army and just hung back peeling for the tau, they would live so much longer.
Railguns used to be able to fire explosive shots.
In fact, most editions of 40K had them doing so. It's only recently that they lost the ability

Ah good auld Tau, always with the traps :)

18:52 The troops to the south are doing that swarming thing like fish or birds... plus, getting killed, but still fun to look at nonetheless.
For The Greater Good!
Where are you getting these awesome models from?! I've been digging around trying my damndest and I just can't find them.
As I recall, he's mentioned in other videos that he pays someone to make them for him.
