In 1979 I holidayed in Polzeath. We climbed down the cliffs west of the Rumps and swam across the little bay to climb up them. Crystal clear water, lobsters and a leaky wet suit.
Sounds like a fantastic memory, I've been fishing off the rumps point when there's been huge swells between the point and the island, really scary ! I've also canoed from Port Quinn to the rumps island and round it on a flat calm day, 2 extremes of sea state.

Sadly at this size they're not worth keeping.
Love the footage. But Im disappointed to see people and fisherman litter still causing havoc on the wildlife.
