@@thorshammer7883 I would hand the win to the Titans, however I'm not deeply knowledgeable about the technology of Eve beyond gameplay. Also since the Infinity is a special ship I'm willing to assume it would perform better than the current Halo lore suggests but I wouldn't personally give it the win. I'd be more inclined to give a stronger chance to a similarly sized Covenant ship. Maybe I just have too little faith in the UNSC when comparing them to other Sci-fi Civs.

That's alright. The Titan is one of the strongest and most outlasting ships in the EVE Online universe. Going through tons of battled and still making it through. And it being the size that it is and being so efficient means that it must be extremely durable and well constructed.
The Eve Online's infrastructure and production output is some of the most powerful compared to other Sci Fi verses generally.
If the UNSC met the humans of New Eden imagine how they would react to it.

I see the Infinity as sort of like the Halo version of the Enterprise 1701-E. I feel like the developers wanted to make a self contained ship that could explore the galaxy, be self-sufficient, and go toe-to-toe with the hostile unknowns out there. I haven’t played the most recent Halo game, but it seems like they killed off the Infinity, so the potential of a Star Trek style galaxy exploration storyline is gone.

In the lore, the infinity was originally being constructed as a way to keep humanity from being completely eradicated during the human-covenant war by having a significant enough number of the population on a mobile platform that could stay away from the covenant and keep evading. Then the war ended and it was repurposed.

The Punic isn't actually stated to carry that much in the way of ground units. It was a full-on space fighting ship. Aside from CnC, it was packed with weapons and built around their spinal MAC, one of the strongest non-SuperMACs ever built. You are confusing the Super Carrier role with that of Infinity's role, which was to act as an expeditionary/diplomatic ship. The Orion Assault Carrier and Pheonix class were the ones that came with heavy ground force detachments.

I wonder what a future generations of ships will look like? Could there be something like a Super Aircraft Carrier where instead of being a runway, it's an entire airport. With three take off lanes or so. Maybe get something more interesting and unique? Like a reimagined Battleship. Big vessel, but buts of drone launching capabilities, cannons, and missiles?
Though If we did get something crazy like the Super Aircraft Carrier idea, I'd imagine we'd need a new Panama Canal. I vote we just cut a big line through Texas and call it good.

Edit: i cannot justify the warthogs and lighter crates but that is some of those can definetly be explained by using warthogs to move around to cargo bay as that thing is huge and the crates could be hold supplies that they were using at that moment as to why they were unsecured.

Hahahahahaha I feel sad being so invested in a game looking at the lore and stuff, that has sucked almost the same time that was great

superficial, simplistic, and unsatisfying. amazing topic but you need to work on your depth of analysis... plus fact-check your script.

I had to look at the size comparison between the USS Gerald Ford and the UNSC Infinity. That thing is stupid massive... but I think it's a but dumb to carry other ships inside of it when they can carry more troops. All that space is wasted imo.
