Their music is always fresh like Air's 3rd album. If there's a take-away from that which applies here it would be this: Don't be light, be color... and nostalgia is always grey.

Today is February 12th 2024. I recently (on the 6th) moved back in to my hometown. The city I was born. And, oh man… what an amazing feeling
I spent the last 2 months far from home, spent it locked in a bedroom, overthinking, and to be honest, sad most of the times.
I couldn’t go to the gym, couldn’t play soccer… imagine, weeks after weeks, days after days, just laying down on the floor and using my phone the entire day, the exact same boring routine, every single day… I was getting crazy, I lost so much weight. But now, those days are over
In less than a week, I went back on playing soccer again, I started taking care of my body again, I am so fking happy man. And this week, I’ll be back in the gym. I am alive, I’m healthy, I’m happy… what else could I ask for?
God it's great to have some quality new music come around the bend in the morning. You guys killed it with this one but I can't wait to hear the rest!!

First heard Broken Bells in 2010 on All Songs Considered. NPR music had an early stream of the debut album and then BB played the album front to back at SXSW that spring (NPR carried the broadcast). Have been at the record store on the release dates ever since to scoop up literally anything these two drop. I’m pumped!

Well, in few months I’m flying to another continent, and start new adventures. I will miss my cold mornings 40 min ride to the gym, I will miss my weekly soccer games, I will miss my friends, I will miss gazing the sunset alone sitting on the beach, I will miss my life here, I will miss Cabinda, I will miss you Angola.
I’m doing the most to enjoy the present, because I’ll miss this soon…
