I love Sheldon Lenard. He was in radio when there was no tv. On the Jack Benny Show and I am not that old. I listen to old time radio on Radio Spirits.
I'm that Nancy. I think for $12,000 Richard deserved a few hugs and kisses. I also kissed and hugged Brett as well as stepping on her foot. I'm so happy to see this now if I could find the Let's Make a deal show I was on several years earlier.
Nancy Barry I just want to say you were really a great player. I also love how you clapped when the other contestant got a match. The contestants on Match Game were always wonderfully gracious towards each other, and you were no exception!
+Nancy Barry Awwww, you were a wonderful contestant. I'm so glad you won the money and got to Kiss Richard Dawson, lucky you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That must be weird being able to see yourself in that small window of time since so many of those other people aren't even alive anymore. I think maybe just Fannie.
RD's sign said ''watch Big Eddie''..i vaguely remember this show, with Sheldon Leonard's character once saying that his 'education was 99% self-inflicted''..i remember Sherry North playing his wife and always trying to come across as a big shot (''self inflicted???'')...i don't recall ''Big Eddie'' lasting an entire season...
I think the star wheel did Richard in as it was a slap in the face to him.He helped a great percentage of the contestants win the big bucks. He had every right to leave MG78.Family Feud was a perfect vehicle for him.Lasted longer, too.
yeah; too bad, actually, cuz sheldon leonard had such charisma and a good schtick goin'. but, i guess he was more a producer, after all. always liked him.
I have a soft spot for Marcia Wallace and her terrible answers but Fanny and Betty were the best in the sixth spot cuz they actually matched from time to time!!
I lived through that period but I never heard of that show. There were only 3 majors channels back then. No TV remotes and rabbit ears. TVs weighed a hundred pounds and came in wood cabinets with 8 inch speakers. That was a long long time ago.Good memories.
didn't anyone catch the mistake they made? it wasn't Charles who wasn't supposed to sit out the second round. it was Richard. he matched round one with goldfish.
It was good "training" for his stint as host of "Family Feud" but considering he worked with Bob Crane (on "Hogan's Heroes") who did alot worse. Apparently it wasn't that unusual for men to think of women that way. It was a different time too.
AND.... ALL the women were willing participants! Every single one of them! Even the married ones. Not a big deal, like society makes it out to be nowadays!
I think the 102 year old man doll would stumble around muttering to himself :)
I would have said, Snoring, cause he was always tired
great episode. richard was the ultimate. and flash cube! talk about a flash from the past (nopunintended.)

The bartender in "It's a Wonderful Life."
Flash to the present. The characters of Sheldon and Leonard on The Big Bang Theory were named in honour of Sheldon Leonard.
Yes!! The bartender was named Nick.
I love Dr Joyce!!
Nancy has a beautiful smile.
Nancy...wow was drop dead gorgeous
100%
R.I.P. Dr Joyce Brothers

Nancy Barry Thanks for responding.

Nancy as a beauty consultant did you let Bob know to trim his eyebrows? I know I'm mean haha!!
I think the star wheel did Richard in as it was a slap in the face to him.He helped a great percentage of the contestants win the big bucks. He had every right to leave MG78.Family Feud was a perfect vehicle for him.Lasted longer, too.
Those Eyebrows. . 😳
Everyone passed on the panel except for Fannie.

The first metre that came to my mind was Kilo
I clap after every show....fun
Nancy's a babe.
Nancy, are you sure you didn't mean to say Contestant instead of Consultant?
That's good
Brett and Fannie look beautiful!
Fannie yes, Brett no.
Sheldon Leonard: "Ya money or ya life?! . . . (long pause) . . . "I said, ya money or ya life?!"
Jack Benny: "I'M THINKING IT OVER!"
I have a soft spot for Marcia Wallace and her terrible answers but Fanny and Betty were the best in the sixth spot cuz they actually matched from time to time!!
Man, they didn’t believe in trimming eyebrows in the ‘70’s did they? 😲
I think and wish all men would groom their eyebrows; some are frightening just like Bob's were!
I thought I was the only one who noticed
Men especially didn't groom anything. It was the let it all hang out decade. Think Magnum PI.
Underarm hair ugh
I think she's sixty-nine now.
"Big Eddie", which Sheldon starred in, was quite the flop.
MUSICOM PRODUCTIONS I

Brett...WHAT A PAIN IN THE ASS!!! WORST PLAYER EVER!!!
💯 💯 💯
Too snarky for my liking, no wonder Jack Klugman divorced her
She settled down in later years. I wonder if she quit drinking at some point?

+wize ash Richard didn't play in the 2nd round for the male contestant, whom he had matched in the 1st round with "goldfish."
Good point, i didn't catch that
I thought Brett was still alive.
Brett died in September 2007.
Bob looks like a mortician 😬
The more I watch these I realize Richard Dawson was a total pervert. Hitting on, hugging & kissing a married woman on national tv. Alrighty then
It was good "training" for his stint as host of "Family Feud" but considering he worked with Bob Crane (on "Hogan's Heroes") who did alot worse. Apparently it wasn't that unusual for men to think of women that way. It was a different time too.
Seriously? Richard but not Gene?
AND.... ALL the women were willing participants! Every single one of them! Even the married ones. Not a big deal, like society makes it out to be nowadays!
@@accam6734 more Dawson.
and then he went on to kiss half of America's women on Family Feud
