    With the story of Elden Ring reaching an ever eminent end, what was your favorite piece of lore throughtout this master piece of a game?
    Make sure to leave it down in the comments and to like and subscribe for more Lore content.
    Also, should I make a video about the best fighting forces in the lands between?🤔
    Edit: BTW I made an opsie at 4:00, the third death knight is found and accounted for, he is dead in one of the catacombs.

    Inquisitors ironically made the whole Midra situation worse by torturing him brutally with the sword of Damnation instead of just offing him on the spot. The flame of frenzy becomes stronger the more hardships and pain the person endures and their inquisition was the perfect catalyst to have Nanaya tell Midra to endure this pain all this time because she knew she will get her destined frenzied lord from his prolonged agony

      I bet they never expected him to resist for so long, at least they contained the spread of frenzy on the abyssal woods

      @@DISCOUNTRUSSIANthey were literally in his home hearing him scream his lil lungs out, they could have killed him at any time, what do you mean they didn't expect him to last that long?

      @@jellydamgood The ones in the mansion are already too far gone, they even use the frenzy flame for f**k sake. They are nut jobs! ironically, Midra might be the most sane individual there. Like I said, the inquisitors were cruel so....

    Thanks for sharing this video. Your video has given me clarity on some aspects of a lore video I have been working on.

    Contained the Frenzy? More like made it grow in Midra. He hold on until he could, but madness feed itself on despair and absence of options.

    We actually do find the third death knight. Its the corpse we get the armor from.

    Given leda's dialogue and item text its highly implied she murdered all the other needle knights. She's full on yandere and kills others for being unworthy to gaze upon her obsession.

    • @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN
      @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN  17 днів тому +1

      Considering her fanatical zeal and extreme methods, I would not doubt that she is responsible for the deaths of her brothers and sisters at arms one way or another.

      @@DISCOUNTRUSSIAN well one of her voice lines is that the hornsent must have smelled it on her the scent of crusted blood the scent of a killer.

    • @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN
      @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN  17 днів тому

      @@arianightrose4792 to be fair, all of the needle knights were likely all ruthless killers. Leda was simply a cut above the rest in both her paranoia and bloodlust.
      In retrospect, you could argue that Leda is not very smart and that she was likely not the best warrior within her order.
      I say this because without our help, she would have likely failed in her attempt at defeating two warriors of greater skill than her, and if we help her adversaries then her failure is guaranteed.
      Miquella likely chose Leda for her paranoid and fanatical loyalty. Don't get me wrong, she is elite but not THAT elite that she could have hoped to beat the leader and captain of the pure blood knights himself.

      True, I enjoy PvP in Elden Ring but some design decisions were baffling to me. Invasions suffer the most in this.

    • @Tarnished_Onryo
      @Tarnished_Onryo Місяць тому

      @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN exactly. I'm an elden ring invader and I miss the dark souls style 3v3s so much. I'd give anything to have a farron keep style invasion zone

    • @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN
      @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN  Місяць тому +1

      @@Tarnished_Onryo So true, forcing a 4 player only session was a kinda of a stupid oversight by fromsoftware. Also, allowing the host to call upon a hunter while already cooping was even more baffling to me. Invasions, since the dlc release, have been a consistent 3v1 affair for the invader, and the amount of OP BS you have to deal with makes it even worse.

    • @jellydamgood
      @jellydamgood Місяць тому

      They ought to seperate their PvP and PvE games. PvE side is getting way too held back by PvP balancing issues, it's not possible to give PvE players cool moves and mechanics cause PvP players gonna complain whenever anything fun for PvE appears in the game. It's getting very old and the divestment needs to begin.

    • @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN
      @DISCOUNTRUSSIAN  Місяць тому +1

      @@jellydamgoodDon't misunderstand, PVP players like flashy "cool moves" too, that's not our issue with elden ring. The problem is how one sided the PVP balancing is, specially on invasions and I don't mean stuff like weapon damage and ash of war usage, hear me out.
      I invaded a duo a few days ago, I was patient and played my cards right in order to NOT get rainbow diarrhea ganked by multiple weapons and ashes, and in that invasion they summoned 3 different hunters to try and kill me and I never got any help as an invader.
      I can deal with OP ashes of war like quick slash, most competent invaders can, but three of them at once? Or even two while the third player spam magic missiles from afar? Its nearly impossible to deal with that.
      Gankers take advantage of this, they summon two over-leveled babysitters so that the 4 PVP slots are filled and the invader is alone and they just rush him, without any sense of strategy because there is not need since they also don't suffer friendly fire, one stun and the invader is likely dead. Invaders didn't tryhard as much in DS3 because they did not have to deal with that sort of situation. Invasions were a test of skill in DS3 and in Elden ring they are a cheese fest now.
      That god forsaking netcoding of fromsoft coupled with that annoying blue bear anti-cheat + extra latency app does not help either, if you play on PC.
      -Let me as an invader call for help, in 3v1 scenarios.
      -Don't allow the host to activate blue ring while already 2v1 an invader, mid invasions.
      -Or at the very least tell me how many players there are in the session, I'm already at a disadvantage anyway.
      You see, the problem is not the abundance of flashy and cool moves but how the scales tip too much to one side on a mechanical level.
