Didn’t even realize Brod was sneaking up on 10k, insane. Been here since you were under 1k, always blew my mind you didn’t have more subs, glad to see you’re getting the deserved recognition 🤝
Thanks for shedding some light on the Trance. My wife got me a Circuit Trance as a gift, haven't been able to find much info on it but have been enjoying playing with it.
MVP disc speeds are based on the rim width. 6.5 speeds are 16.5mm, 8 speeds are 18mm, and 7 speeds are 17mm. There is a noticeable difference in hand feel for a 6.5 speed vs. an 8 speed.
Picked up a relay last week.. was in the R2 plastic but very VERY impressed with it.. got that and an impulse and both really are fantastic discs .. a little more under stable than i expected but also slotted in the bag perfectly as i have a tesla thats quite over stable in the 9 speed.. im someone who really never plays with understable discs as im equal in forehand and backhand play but its been really fun to learn some more backhand understable play
The standard safari layouts give you a good amount more distance. Also playing from the path just after 9 to hole 5s Basket is a cool par 4 if the park isnt busy.
Love the glow echo, seems to beat into flippier hex territory quick with very similar hand feel. If getting stability variants of the hex mold is your goal this is a great way to cycle in different degrees of turn.
I had a prism proton trance and I never figured it out. Did not fly like the numbers suggested. Way more over stable. Picked up a fission Rhythm and got what I was looking for!
BRO, THATS my exact complaint is the “watt is perfect for 2 weeks” then breaks in. It’s a touchy disc. I like it but the proxy is ultimately for torque resistant I think is the deal
Interesting take on MVP basic line plastic. I only putt with their premium plastic because I feel like Electron is way too slick. Any amount of dust seems to make it so slick and uncontrollable for me. So, I choose fission or soft neutron for the best hand feel.
You'd like a neutron soft proxy. They season to a specific spot and stop. I've been throwing mine for over a year, same flight. The tacky feel in the hand is priceless! Works in hot and cold weather...
As someone who also says anything I can do with a Watt I can do better with a Proxy just for it to fall on deaf ears I love seeing someone else who uses discs that way
Definitely will buy some discs you recommended, love to watch your content. Any beginner discs you recommend? Also, what type of shoes do you wear for disc golf?
My Watt was a bit more neutral than yours for my round but otherwise yea the echo was kinda stable for an echo and the trance was basically an 7/5/-1/2. Used the shit out of the watt given the smaller pitch and putt course it was hosted at. Was a better circuit challenge than last year's which was an electron runway, neutron tempo, and proton servo imo.

If you like the fission watt for putting, the Pilot is where you need to be. It's the Ohm (same core as the watt) but Streamline. Im a watt thrower and pilot putter because of my experience with the circuit challenge. But i understand that you've already figured out the pixel works. And it makes sense to stick with that.
I don't like MVP base plastic, but I love the Pilot, but I also dislike how slippery all their premium plastic is for putting. Really wish they had a grippy more premium plastic.

A lot of the growth has come from this series. Look forward to more of these with each brand of discs
He's really picking up steam, too. 10k any day now.
Shoulda been there for awhile, really.
@@SkyelerTheDisctroyer Based on the average 10k account...easily.
just gotta say the framing of all of your shots and the trees just looks great.
He's got cinematography and editing chops, for sure. Definitely a feature of the channel.

Great video. Been hype for each episode of the MVP challenge this month
16:07 them larpers have armor bro, fire away!
Should he yell "Magic Missile" instead of "Fore!"?
Weekend larpers at Cornwall is iconic lol. They've been doing that forever.

Brod on Fission: "I hate it; also it's my favorite putter plastic"
Unless you're throwing KC Pro or DX Rocs, most players only use baseline to putt.
Not gonna lie... llama walking and larping sounds like a good time 😄
I'm tellin' ya. Putt with that glow pixel! the hand feel is tacky, but slick!

Another banger 🔥

Great video. Being a sidehand dominant player help me out, more than 1 sidehand per video. 😂
trance is the best fairway out there for straighter shots

Fission is MVP's understable plastic. I have a crave and a hex in that plastic. Both turn over a lot more than they do in other plastics.

I own every disc MVP makes, and the Trance is my favorite of all of them. It's what everyone wants to Crave to be. It's incredible for forehands too.
Got a fission Envy, the plastic is weird, but the flights are money 🤝
I told you the Watt was a good putter :)
Trance is so underrated brother
the trance is great, I only have the og run from a few years ago but it was ITB for half a season as a go to fairway
Those mvp discs are flying pretty good
i love my neutron watt
As someone who also says anything I can do with a Watt I can do better with a Proxy just for it to fall on deaf ears I love seeing someone else who uses discs that way
Larping backup has to be the most Pacific Northwest thing I have ever heard. Have you tried eclipse plastic for the putters?
Hey Brod, do you not run your clothing merch anymore?
Id love to see you play with the trash panda discs!
Definitely will buy some discs you recommended, love to watch your content. Any beginner discs you recommend? Also, what type of shoes do you wear for disc golf?
I definitely didn't see llamas and larps in my frisbee cine club daily hit bingo card.
🔥
my neut watt is more stable than my glo proxy
Love the content!
especially with PNW background
Vanderyacht is the best field work course
You can throw from 2s teepad to 4s basket or 2(blue) to 7s basket
I really like the fission Watt, have 2. But honestly the eclipse Watt is better! I do generally have a preference for eclipse plastic though.
I think the pitch is the best for circle 2 putting
What's the back story to the Three Keys to Disc Golf clip?
Disc Maniac just said at the end of his video today that Axiom and MVP get discounted with his sponsor code so maybe things are changing.
Infinite's last discount code worked on Axiom. Not that they have discounts often...
10offdgdusa worked on the Streamline eclipse lift $1.90 off @ discgolfdealsusa, fancy
We've got some pretty courses in Florida, but these PNW courses just hit different.

Comparing fission plastic to baseline plastic is crazy. Baseline plastics like DX feel so much worse imo.
Grab a fission proxy maybe?
Just go to their websites dude, they group list everything by diameter.
I watched this while lying on my stomach, and kicking my feet in the air 🎃
nice pfp

Sneaky omega wide hyzer gap saved in memory bank of shots I can actually execute.

Neutron soft and proton soft if you can find it. Both are my favorite plastics
