Thank you Alison, I haven't been crocheting for long, but you are fantastic with your tutorials. Very easy to follow, so thank you again. I will make sure I continue to follow you.
This is a nice easy stitch, good change from the usual. I taught myself to crochet at the end of last year, as I sew quilts and make blankets for Project Linus here in Ontario Canada. I wanted something a bit faster than knitting them, which wax all I knew. This new stitch brings a welcome change!
Thank you for the clear instruction. At the end, what do you do to “work the colors into the blanket?” I was unsure about what to do with hanging yarn. Thank you!
Oh my GOD I JUST bought the same yarn SAME color and was searching what to do with it that gave the color justice and I was just on one of your other patterns and randomly clicked on this one...thanks! Perfect! Love your accent btw! PS do you have any idea on how to get this yarn (merino that you showed in the beginning) to soften up or does it soften as you work with it? Also why did you switch to caron for the tutorial? Ugh 2nd edit...oh no! I needed right handed! Lol guess I gotta figure it out shouldn't be hard 😅
there is a right hand one on my channel. i switched to the another yarn for the tutorial itself as i was working on the main yarn, and use different yarns to show how to start the projects and also to show what it looks like in other yarns too. I got the merino one in Michaels in the USA its a loops and thread yarn Michael's own brand.
Thank you for being so simple and explaining it so easily!
Love this channel. I crochet left handed.
Wonderful!

I've never crochet before. I decided to start here. The side of my hand is killing me but I think I'm getting there! Thanks. :)
Thank you for this one. I remember this from years ago I don’t know the name of the pattern, but I love it my go to!

What size hook did you use? Did I miss that in the beginning?
use the hook size your chosen yarn states on the label I used a UK 4.5mm you can use any yarn you like for this.
