Btw the alchemist they’re talking about that Pride assimilated was the Gold Tooth Jerk that Pride stabbed. He was the one who knew how to do human transmutation
@@stodd2010 You're wrong on both fronts. Wrath is the one that said that line and he specifically said Pride JUST assimilated an alchemist, meaning the doctor. Not to mention that Kimblee has no knowledge of human transmutation while the doctor literally performed it moments before.
@@TropicL3mon If the doctor had performed it moments before, then he would have been the 5th and attacking Mustang wouldn't be necessary. Going off of that along with what happened with eating Gluttony, then it stands to reason Pride needs to consume a person/homonculus to retain their abilities/knowledge. The doctor wasn't consumed, so therefore not assimilated. As for Wrath, he could have not meant "just" in such a literal measure or he could have simply been wrong. And I would like the specific episode where it's stated that Kimblee has no knowledge of human transmutation. He was a state alchemist. Just because I didn't hear it pointed out too - Roy's sacrifice was a point of brilliant writing because his greatest point of his character is his VISION for the future, its his whole point for being in the military and everything in the show to this point. He has a vision of becoming Fuhrer and fulfilling his visions and dreams, so his fitting sacrifice is his physical vision/eyesight.
I always thought that Pride being able to just force human transmutation into someone was a little contrived, however this is a great character moment for Roy. If he had accepted to do the transmutation I wouldn't think less of him, but him refusing it is amazing to show his character. Roy is an interesting character, he has every characteristic that we would usually associate with a villain: he is highly capable, quite cocky, pragmatic and willing to sacrifice the person he loves the most - but he is still conflicted about it and that is what distinguishes him from one of those pragmatic villains who think their goal is above everything.
Well it certainly is a deus ex machina for the villains, but it’s one that comes at a heavy cost to Pride at least and they only used it when there was no choice. Plus it was only something Pride could do and he could only do it once. So it had a reasonable backlash.
Scar fighting Bradley was such peak story writing. Scar, who lived for revenge for the Ishvalans finally faces the man who ordered for the extermination of the Ishvalans. Furthermore he had to face Bradley when he had more or less made peace with himself and decided to set aside his revenge for the greater good. This is literally Wrath vs Wrath. Also, Scar took on both brothers all by himself, a feat only Izumi Curtis had accomplished by far in the series, so Scar is actually one of the best human fighters out there. Izumi is without a doubt the best human fighter, then next up is Scar or Olivia Armstrong.
Wrath was not allowed to follow his nature, except here in this specific fight. As Fuhrer he was NOT ALLOWED to be angry, every single second was Wrath being calm, because he was ordered to be so. Greed was not allowed to "fill the vacancy inside" because father was ALWAYS more powerful, so he rebelled. Twice. Lust also is "Bloodlust", why is sierra echo xylophone the only way it is allowed to be interpreted? Lust was probably the only Homunculi, other than pride, to do as her nature described, she saw blood, created bleeding in others, and Gluttony was allowed to clean up any evidence.

And out of everyone , roy's price was by far the worst because it wasn't even his doing (+ in the 03 version , roy Was the one who killed Bradley in the end and he lost one of his eyes during the fight , getting an eye patch and mirroring Bradley)
Kimblee has actually never performed human transmutation, at least never stated in the show (idk about manga) he only utilizes the stones given to him by others and the transmutation circles on his hands.
Neither has Mustang. Or Goldtooth. But there you are, one you claimed did it, but also wasn't somehow a sacrifice, which ONLY requires someone who opened their portal...? How does that work? No, knowledge is required, and ACTUALLY DOING it wasn't a requirement to teach the forms. Power was enough. Kimblee is powerful. Nothing says he could not read up, any more than it was said Goldtooth did.
@@markhackett2302gold tooth has performed it though, the circle he used with 5 of his underlings as tolls to get the sacrifices to Father was human transmutation.
@@markhackett2302except Kimblee is a psychopath and would have no desire to ever learn human transmutation because he’d never have anyone he’d care enough to use it for.
The things that people lose during human transmutation is to do with the goals or dreams. Truth is ironic and cruel, but then again a price must be paid for the knowledge that Truth showed them all. Mustang, lost his eyesight because he had a vision for the future. Ed, lost his leg because he was independent but then couldnt stand on his own two feet. Izumi, lost her ability to have children as all she wanted was to bring her child back. Al, lost his body as he wanted to feel his mothers hugs and warmth.
"All is an absolute hero for that" well....technically, if Al had just stayed there with his body that would have FF-ed up fathers plans real quick. Also, Scar did die this episode, but it was a metaphorical death.
You know it's an incredible series when Ed is only the third best Elric! Really had to nerf Roy... it's one way to go about the most troublesome character for the homunculi, but also irony that fits perfectly thematically. Just an FYI: The alchemist with knowledge about human transmutation Pride assimilated was Gold Tooth. Kimblee never would have had any interest in it.
😂 Ed third best what r u talking abt maybe second to his father but that's it . L is an idiot who went back to human world to fight like wtf he knows he's a sacrifice but still he went back wow😅
Just an FYI, no, it MIGHT have been Goldtooth, but Kimblee definitely had enough power, and was just assimilated by pride. Kimblee is 100% for acquiring power. Tell him that the portal gives him power and he'd open it.

Rev glad your back and your yt time out went by quick… however sorry got no sympathy for content creators anymore. Everyone knows UA-cam is broken, everyone knows they play favorites, shadow ban, treat their platform like a publisher rather then what it is and only show signs of getting worse. Normally I’d side wit the creators but I’m so sick of creators who complain constantly and refuse to fight back. I’m not even saying leave yt high and dry. By all means keep your content on UA-cam but embrace alt tech and port out your content to other platforms, put pressure on UA-cam by building a solid alternative. What I’m saying is every single content creator without a exclusivity contract should exorcise that right. Most of these side platforms (Odysee, rumble, Bitchute, dlive whatever) will automatically port over all your UA-cam videos with no work to yourself. Then you will have no fear of being unpersoned and we’ll never have a UA-cam alternative until creators embrace this change. Shit Rumble (while lacking a speakable monetization system based on adds) has a built in members program so you can still monetize videos ah la Patreon. “Oh but those platforms are all right wing political”…. YEAH CAUSE NO NORMIE CONTENT CREATORS EMBRACE THESE PLATFORMS. These platforms would kill to bring over normie content be it video games, anime, commentary or whatever. Right now they only have people who were kicked off UA-cam but ya can’t build a platform with just the banned. To make a true competitor we NEED normie creators to bridge the gap and let their fans know they can be found on MULTIPLE platforms.
Ange, do you really think that Ed, after his whole speech about not using (nameless) others lives to get his and Al's body back, is capable of using his own father's life to do the same thing? 😈
"He was eaten." That is what happens when you assimilate food. Kimblee was assimilated. So was Gluttony. Goldtooth wasn't, Goldtooth was transformed, and still alive.
This show is too good! In any other show the type of selfless sacrifice Al made would've been the thing that saves the day, but in FMAB Al's sacrifice makes the Father's plan possible and potentially dooms the world.
And this is why i rate characters as; 1) Al. Absolute legend. 2) Ho. Socially awkward but has a lot on his mind. 3) Winry. Because Winry. 4) CAPTAIN BUCCANEER! 5) Pinako, because she was hot in her prime, and can hold her liquor. Sorry, Fullmetal. You didn't even make top 5.

I gotta admit, Roy going blind was something I didn't see coming.
A fun fact: lust forshadowed roy losing his eyesight getting taken away all the way back when roy beat her and she was fading away.
And out of everyone , roy's price was by far the worst because it wasn't even his doing (+ in the 03 version , roy Was the one who killed Bradley in the end and he lost one of his eyes during the fight , getting an eye patch and mirroring Bradley)
Please watch the OVA where izumi meets sig for the first time. It is hilarious 😂
Did someone say cliffhanger? Ohh boy can't wait!
The selim bradley hate levels on this channel is over 9k. Hahahahaha love it. 5 epic episode to go. XD
Scar engages in combat with wrath, carlie “scars dead” 😂
The things that people lose during human transmutation is to do with the goals or dreams. Truth is ironic and cruel, but then again a price must be paid for the knowledge that Truth showed them all.
Mustang, lost his eyesight because he had a vision for the future.
Ed, lost his leg because he was independent but then couldnt stand on his own two feet.
Izumi, lost her ability to have children as all she wanted was to bring her child back.
Al, lost his body as he wanted to feel his mothers hugs and warmth.
19:22 Oh man I can't wait for the reaction to that scene.
I think Bradley might be the most badass of the badasses right up there with Guts from Berserk.
His voice actor is my favorite probably.
Great reaction! Exciting!
20:30 this is some S+ Tier parenting lmao
I can't wait for the next episode, it will be my favourite episode.
and Hohenheim saw the turth already when he became immortal
"All is an absolute hero for that"
well....technically, if Al had just stayed there with his body that would have FF-ed up fathers plans real quick.
Also, Scar did die this episode, but it was a metaphorical death.
We will see a very big moment in next episode
You know it's an incredible series when Ed is only the third best Elric!
Really had to nerf Roy... it's one way to go about the most troublesome character for the homunculi, but also irony that fits perfectly thematically.
Just an FYI: The alchemist with knowledge about human transmutation Pride assimilated was Gold Tooth. Kimblee never would have had any interest in it.
😂 Ed third best what r u talking abt maybe second to his father but that's it . L is an idiot who went back to human world to fight like wtf he knows he's a sacrifice but still he went back wow😅
@@zurut99 If you assume Al knew the specifics of the sacrifical ritual you are beyond help.
@@mrcx6142 he knows he's needed bro that's it don't try to hide it he's just one year younger than Ed and omg the difference in brain
Just an FYI, no, it MIGHT have been Goldtooth, but Kimblee definitely had enough power, and was just assimilated by pride. Kimblee is 100% for acquiring power. Tell him that the portal gives him power and he'd open it.
@@zurut99he thought he'd go back in his body, not stay in the portal, that's literally the reason he didn't reunite with his body. He had no way of knowing it would've been best to take the opportunity.
Father already has them where he wanted :)
Roy turned into daredevil, and not a good way
12:43 Dew it :) 5 EPISODE FINALE!!!
5 perfect episodes left... Just so you know.
Ange, do you really think that Ed, after his whole speech about not using (nameless) others lives to get his and Al's body back, is capable of using his own father's life to do the same thing? 😈
Demon Slayer might have given you views but by watching Fullmetal you gained my appreciation.
6:19 The only good thing Pride has done.
Also, how the hell could Bradley be referring to Kimblee? He was eaten.
"He was eaten."
That is what happens when you assimilate food. Kimblee was assimilated. So was Gluttony. Goldtooth wasn't, Goldtooth was transformed, and still alive.
4:08 Carlie. Get married
Royai Shipper, that what we says
I love your content. Will you be recording your reactions to SAO or HxH ?
You guys should watch the new champion release trailer in league of legends. She’s called briar
This show is too good! In any other show the type of selfless sacrifice Al made would've been the thing that saves the day, but in FMAB Al's sacrifice makes the Father's plan possible and potentially dooms the world.
7:15 It’s the doctor lol the doc you hate so much
Wrong, the alchemy is from the golden tooth doctor, he is an alchemist
Have I just realised you guys are married?!
AOT trailer 🎉
And this is why i rate characters as;
1) Al. Absolute legend.
2) Ho. Socially awkward but has a lot on his mind.
3) Winry. Because Winry.
4) CAPTAIN BUCCANEER!
5) Pinako, because she was hot in her prime, and can hold her liquor.
Sorry, Fullmetal. You didn't even make top 5.
L
L
Fair play.
10:44 my most annoying moment of show . L knows he's needed for sacrifice but ye still went . Omg he thinks they have better chance if hes fighting like wtf😡😡
Ange is such a hater :D he'd definitely be wrath if he was a homonculus. I'm surprised you're starting hxh because if you hate cliffhangers this much, hxh finishes on a cliffhanger, and when I say finishes, it doesn't. Cause of the authors medical issues it regularly goes on hiatus. It's likely the anime will never be finished, the ultimate cliffhanger.
