I'm using an Edge 20 and it's a fantastic device for the price, considering this to be the only stock Android phone in the segment. It surely gives the pixel vibes while using it and I expect the same from Edge 30 pro.
Did you tried any custom UI or 3rd party app?
@@Abdullah_Al_Saud u mean to say a third party launcher? Yes, I'm using Microsoft Launcher and it works perfectly fine. One of my family members owns a Mi 11X. Performance is similar but Moto performs better in terms of camera. No ads or anything, apps load well...
I am also using moto edge 20 pro. It's a fantastic device. Battery backup is very good. I like the Edge 30 Pro since they have not changed much in terms of design. But plastic frame is a let down compared to metal frame on Edge 20 pro. Camera is not the strong point of Motorola phones. But with gcamera mods it should be manageable. I am using LM8.2 camera and does a great job. Overall motorola is doing great now with some great mobile launches hope this trend continues.
@@videorascals I click photos in RAW using Pro mode and edit them later in Lightroom. If I feel the photos coming out directly are satisfactory, I don't edit RAW. Camera is good enough if we know how to edit pictures. I tried some Gcam mods but those didn't work well. I'll have to try this one which u mentioned. Edge 30 pro can be a good option for those who want a OnePlus 9 series phone. I compared 9R with Edge 20 and found the camera on Edge 20 to be far better!!
@@Subbu0106 my concern is with low light photography and zoomed images. It's mostly to do with post image processing algo. For day light photography motorola camera app is pretty good as you have mentioned. I feel motorola has not optimised the camera software enough to utilize the full potential of the hardware. After switching to GCam I see a marked improvement in overall image quality especially the zoomed images and low light images.

I actually prefer the subtle design on this phone. Although, I agree that they could've gone for a flashier design.

Lack of telephoto is a concern. In the review, let us know how much that hurts the camera experience.
I guess the corners cut justifies the price tag at which it will be available. Priced quite economical than all of competition

Moto edge 20 user here. I have received Feb security update already. Also they released updates for a screen issue very quickly. Moto staff is very responsive on their forums.

Could we also know how the Vibration Motor fairs on this one? As the pricing is agressive they must've made some cuts and generally the Vibration Motor on these competitively priced phones aren't that great compared to their flagship counterparts

S20FE doesn't have physical proximity sensor. You might face issues when in calls.

Hey ash got my miui 13 with Android 12 update and I have to say even though it says it's stable quite a few bugs no dark mode for separate apps the font is smaller no matter which one I use and at xtra large is smaller if you use face unlock to apps a green icon miui biometric appears top left of the screen system apps updater is white screen even though I'm using dark mode hopefully there bugs will be fixed in the next update that's about it great video as always thank you for your hard work and stay safe

Global varient had thermal issues while gaming. Almost to 50°C.
Can you test BGMI on it for min. an hour and check the thermals ?

Hey Ash, try to address the quality of the hardware of this device, I am using a Moto G60 and it has ghost touch issues. I can confirm that many people have reported it for G60 and G40 as well. Does this so called flagship from Motorola resolve all these drawbacks. I mean tbh ...it didn't feel like a premium offering at all.

Hey ash...I can get S22 Ultra, smart Tag and Smart Watch 4 for 1L! But Moto edge 30 pro costs much less! Again...there are differences..But is it worth to invest more on Samsung? No budget constraints! My only point is to have Worth the penny, device!
if no budget constraints then get the s22 ultra - admittedly I am a little biased to the samsung notes, I absolutely adore the s-pen and samsung's cameras are also quite impeccable!

Perfect Iqoo's 9 pro competitor.
Moto has an "edge" (pun intended!🤣) with stock Android. Add G-cam and the cameras are sorted too! I don't care about design; I'd apply a skin anyway. I just wish it was more affordable. 45k is a good price, but a little cheaper would've been the icing on the cake.

@@srinivas345 Detail level can be judged, but colours, especially blues, are terribly oversaturated when compared to Moto results. I prefer low saturated, high detailed images, which I can later on edit to perfection in Snapseed and/or Lightroom.

Bought one fusion plus a year ago, when samsung mid range phones are getting android 12 motorols still isnt giving android 11 to this phone
Id recommend s21fe over this, even though its 5k more, older chip, it gets faster 3 major updates instead of motorolas slow 2, has dynamic refresh rate, water resistance is better, overall quality is better, motorola just wants to look like they are changing but they are stubborn careless company, stock android is the only thing they are good at
Please review "Ready For 3.0" -- it is the only desktop mode for Android ever released that can do 4K.
