5:30 I think a cool way to incorporate this gameplay into a memory level would be to have the gameplay mirrored on either side of the “ground” but invisible on the side you are currently on.
I really love the concept of maymory, because we're gonna see so many different takes of one single style of layout, a boss fight is something I wouldn't have expected for example lol
For when the clubstep monster dies, the bite should be clearer (like using back in easing for the triggers) and he should fall apart instead of just fading away
Tride, if you work on the same thing for so long (example gimmick level,) it will become boring if you work on it too much. Losing motivation happens A LOT when creating levels. So my tip is not to work on a level too much and spread out when i work on a level, so i don’t get bored of the same things everyday. If you want to get back into something, just take a long break and just jump back into it without any expectations. Just don’t pile up too much of the same thing onto yourself.

When the clubstep monster bites down and breaks his teeth, they should fly off the screen because that will help the player understand the concept of the clubstep monster breaking his teeth.

Honestly that ship part looks like a spider corridor, so i think it would be cool to have a fake spider going through the gaps in structure(you have to remove saws in way) while the ship goes through the structure :) if its too complicated its fine, but it would be cool

It could even provide some content, kinda like with Kratos where some people decorated it. This level looks super fun and very cool to play, even though I might never be able to beat it since I'm bad at the game and have a bad memory lol. Also I have and idea with the last clubstep monster at the end of the level. What if it was closed off by the "teeth" and its eyes were closed, and then just before you fly into it, the eyes open and so does the mouth. That would be cool, but that's just an idea that I had. The level is still very cool. Great job! :D

I have an idea, maybe as an endscreen make an clubstep monster act like its dead but it slowly opens it eyes and then it just turns into a black screen. Then maybe create a sequel to this level and (maybe) make the sequel not memory. Great level, cant wait for the deco!
4:55 i recommend not using s blocks and using spikes or saws instead because it gives the player more control with the dash orb and the sudden suprise of it being cut off is just, yk surpising ik this part isnt here anymore but i just wanna say that if youre using dash orb for other levels
I have a cool idea for the end of the level, although I don't know how well it would fit with the song. My idea was to lock the ship in the middle of the last clubstep monster using invisible blocks and moving it with the player, and then having the clubstep monster chomp down on the player, turning to maybe a black screen and then the finish. It is of course your level so you decide what the ending will be, but I just wanted to share my idea in case you like it
You could make the eyes of the clubstep monsters grayed out. So it looks like they are lifeless and then at the end make the last clubstep monters eye glow again to indicate that it is not over yet.
This might be hard to pull off, but maybe for the clubstep monster when the teeth bash on the corridor, the teeth could all break and you have to dodge the falling teeth from the top, except the one on top of you.
this song kinda reminds me of broken signal if you end up decorating this maybe you could take some inspiration from it just a suggestion btw also dude this layout is sick edit: i didn't realize you had already thought of deco sorry
