Some nice parts, some weird part, some disjointed parts, some parts that remind how great Pixar was and where we are today. I feel like anything post-Coco just doesn't hit. There's no emotional connection to it. The Up section was nice, the Coco section was cool, Wall-e did what it needed to, but then moments like 9:35. It's like Illumination decided to "video bomb" a Pixar tribute. Finally, that finale. Buzz and Woody saying "I'll have ol' Buzz to keep me company from infinity and beyond" to give that final emotional button for the audience from TS2 but, they don't. TS4 happened and Woody bailed and they split up. I feel like with all of these sequels, the continuity is breaking and we are supposed to forget how stories progress and be okay with it. It's weird. I keep saying it, Disney's sequel problems go way deeper than just the films. Anyway, great video of a good but disjointed fireworks spectacular at DL. Thanks Micechat!!
