A Journey of Friendship
Celebrating the heart of Pixar storytelling, this nighttime spectacular will take you on an emotional journey of friendship as Pixar pals meet for the first time, set out on adventures, overcome adversity, and, in the end, forge everlasting bonds-together.
New Scenes
Favorite moments from Toy Story, Inside Out, Coco, The Incredibles and more are now joined by new scenes featuring characters and music from Turning Red, Luca, Soul, Onward and Elemental.
Sensational Sights
See the worlds of Pixar come alive through immersive projections, colorful lasers, lighting effects and memorable music-with dazzling pyrotechnics taking the show sky high on select nights.
At special points during the show, Buzz Lightyear soars through the air and Carl Fredricksen’s house from Up floats above Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Where to Watch
Enjoy the show from locations across Disneyland Park, including along the Rivers of America, near “it’s a small world” in the Central Plaza, and along Main Street, U.S.A.

Can I just say that the usage of the tour guide Barbie thing from the toy story 2 blooper reel is actually very clever?

I’d say overall improvement from the original. Some things I noted:
1. Newly installed castle projectors made a huge difference
2. Revamped soundtrack (finale sequence improved)
3. Lost Life is a Highway
4. More low level pyro (in anticipation of windy nights where large shells can’t go off I assume)
No more life is a highway? 😭 I haven't watched the whole video yet. Personally besides toy story I think cars is the pixar anthem
It is not improved in any way the original is literally better

@b_d15 Now, if they combined some of the scenes from the original with the all-new version, I predict that the show will become a little bit better.
The street projections are intense. Probably the best so far.

Interesting how the lighting and pyro design is way better here than Wondrous Journeys
This is a great revamped version of the show. Its still no Wondrous Journeys but the fireworks usage were much better in this one.
Agree! Love Wondrous Journeys but their usage of fireworks in WJ is a little sparse. This one has much more pyro.
@@rygregoryI always get downvoted by WJ fans when I say Disneyland is capable of using more shells and pyro and WJ falls flat in that department. But DLF, Magical, Together and Remember had some crazy designs compared to WJ. WJ wins pacing and everything else though.

I watched fireworks from infront of the castle, Let me tell you it is actually Intense with the extra ones, and definitely blinding at the end, especially Incredible’s. But this is one of my favorites.

Thank you for this! However, I will still maintain my opinion that the fireworks at Disneyland are still best viewed from halfway up Main Street to see the entire spectacle in your field of view.

Wow, did they completed redo this show? This great, While Wondrois Journeys may be a better show, I'm happy with this. I remeber it being OK but they really hit it out of the park with this, especially the pryo, and the projections look great too!

im going to say 2018 pixar fireworks show was better because they had Cars. Im not sure why they didnt add Cars since it is PIXAR and even a big hit in DCA. I would say the fireworks were better in 2024 tho. but great video quality and sound as always! Happy Disney!
The only Pixar movie that basically isn't in this show when comparing to the original is The Good Dinosaur.

The new additions really seemed kinda out of place and made the show look rushed, and lacked a lot of key goosebump moments that the OG show had
It's Alright, People! I Know that this New Version of the Show is Kind of a Downgrade from the Original, but this Version is still Good. The Reason Why this Show Disappointedly Changed is to Avoid Outdated Stuff. Don't Worry, Fans! Even Though the New Version is Still Good, the Original will Always be the Better One. Things Change.

They did, actually! They said every Pixar film was included somewhere in the show. That could be including Main Street or Small World though.
Kinda wish they didn't omit Life is a Highway.

Projection technology is upgraded
But expression is downgraded
It lost the warmth of Pixar movie, also the new segments is quite unmatched between the original one
Why is this show so mismatched. I get that there were so many newer movies Pixar released, but you removed some of the best show elements [and flow] the original had and are clearly trying to squeeze them in where they don't belong. Here are examples: At 02:47, "Elementals" slows down the pace of the opening montage of Monsters University, Finding Nemo, and Inside Out. They should've integrated the visuals with the music like they did with Wall-E and Soul at 04:05 and Wall-E and Luca at 04:24 where the flow and visuals work hand and hand. Between 05:08-06:02 , "Turning Red" and "Luca" I guess are unique additions, but soon go the PhilharMagic route with a "terrible segway" leading in and out of Coco. Between 06:56-07:27, "Onward" doesnt have the same build and speed as the "Cars" segment did. And with the removal of Cars, they are now squeezing "The Incredibles" into the show. But the finale, oh boy, why in the world would you once again include "Turning Red" [10:30-11:00] as it now delays the finale.
I've never left the park early or rode rides at Disneyland during the fireworks [even during Mickeys Mix Magic], but for the first time i might just skip this one.
I totally disagree in my opinion the show is much better now than before and they made good improvements to the pyrotechnics they added new segments very good and the projections are much more vibrant
The very glaring pacing issue is the Elemental cutting through the Monsters and Inside Out segments and the random second Turning Red segment after the “You and Me Together” before the finale.
Why would they change it???? The original summer 2018 version was sooo much better!!
The old show didn't have Luca, which I believe is my favorite and needs more representation
@@Wiiguy1606 I mean sure that's great but this new revamped show has more cons than pros in my opinion. They removed Cars & Life is a highway. They removed the flame throwers & the intensity that came with that toy story scene. They removed the magical original triumph Finale song & "revamped" it into a kiddish dance party song. The scene that made people cry with Buzz & Woody " till infinity & beyond ". The list goes on & on I mean they even minimized the amount of big fireworks used in the show, it's basically a projection show at this point. At the end of the day I'm only feeling nostalgic to summer 2018 & I'll try to be positive & give the new version a try but .. But Dear Disney if it ain't broke, why fix it??

I honestly prefer the 1st version of it. Personally i think turning red, luca, and especially soul were terrible movies. And I've never seen onward.
