It's interesting how caffeine affects people. Some people are so cautious about having caffeine so late in the day because it keeps them up. Meanwhile, I'll have coffee, and I sleep like a baby because caffeine makes me sleepy😅
Same!! I literally just brewed my afternoon pot of coffee 😅 it’s so fascinating
You might have adhd 😂
Caffeine soothes my anxiety and unless I have a lot of it, it does not affect my energy level
Same here! But then when I'm pregnant it suddenly affects me more and will keep me up at night.
It's interesting how everyone is different, for me caffeine (even in tea) makes my anxiety sooo much worse. If I accidentally have it, this state of heighten anxiety sometimes last for me more than 24 hours😅
Love a cosy rainy reading time. I've always been interested in Severance, glad you liked it
My mom and sister and I used to pass around the Harry potter books and each add annotations
My favourite videos of yours are 40 + minute reading vlogs. Look forward to them every single week. Gets me in the mood to read or I’ll do a craft whilst watching like colouring or crocheting ❤
I ADORE how thoroughly you can explain a book without giving spoilers. It’s honestly so impressive! Your vlogs are also just so peaceful to me and also inspire me to read more. (Carter Sullivan recommended you and I’m so glad she did!) 🩵
A friend was saying that she worries about annotating a book she might get rid of later and I told her I love reading used books people have annotated in! “Buddy reading with a stranger” I love that.
The perfect video to rewind after a long day 🫖
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast 😂
Fav youtuber uploads video = day made 🥰🥰🥰
Yay for Hospital Playlist! If you haven't already watched it, I highly recommend the Reply series (same writer and director as Hospital Playlist, and you will recognize many of the cameos). My personal favorite is 1997 (short and sweet), but the most popular one is 1988. Also, Prison Playbook is another favorite of mine (same writer as HP and Reply). I want to move Severance up on my tbr, but it's still on an "unknown wait" list at my library. lol.
hearing you talk about severance really made me want to reread it!! i first read it in 2020, two months into the pandemic and it was really jarring at first but it's such a nice, slow moving story that just makes you think about your life and if what you're doing is really what you want lol made me change some things in my life, like a kick in the butt bc i was living like the main character and realised i needed a change
love your vlogs!! 💚💚
Matilda just chilling hard 😂😂
Can you post your delicious meatball soup recipe, please
Excellent books you picked they all sound amazing unique and magnificent 💜💐💐💙❤️❤️💙💜💜💙🌸🌸📖🌻🌻🪷🩷🪻🩷🌺📙🩵🩵🪻🪻💖💛🌈🌈💚💘💘🤎🌈🫶🏻🌻🌻💜💐💙❤️🩷🪻🪻🪻🪻🌈🌈🫶🏻🧡🧡🩵🌺📙🌻🌻🌼📚💜💐💐❤️❤️💙💐🤎🤎🌈
This made me want to curl up with a book and coffee!
I really loved Severance and Miracle Creek too! The fact that the character on trial in Miracle Creek has the same name as me def took me by surprise 😅
Hey Regan, if you're looking for Asian dramas that will tug at your heartstrings (and if you have Rakuten Viki): "Silent" is a Japanese drama that broke me...right now I'm watching the Chinese drama "Will love in Spring" and I love the female main character (a self-confident, feisty woman who calls herself la dilettante on Weibo, yes please!). If you want K-drama I highly recommend "At a distance, spring is green". Imho the best Asian dramas to have a satisfying cry over...😉
Loved hearing about these books - all new to me! Also, love that yellow cardigan with the flowers!!
Hospice is a popular tv series in India. It chronicles the cases that Hospitals Crime Unit (HCU) of police in India deals with.
I've been wanting to pick up Severance for a while; I think I will now!
I definitely need to do this maybe once a month. Just a cozy reading self care day!
9:20 I LOVE that about used books! Makes me feel connected to people. There is a book that plays with this idea called S. by Doug Dorst, J.J. Abrams (yes The Abrams). I just started it but is so funny. There is a fictitious book called the Ship of Thesis, and we are reading 2 college students talking back and forth in the margins. Awesome concept!
I hope one of the Chinese restaurants is Din Ho because that place is amazing 🥡🥢
So jealous about the rainy reading weather. I had planned on doing that in Colorado but the rain turned into snow 🥲🥲
greetings for the nice pet
Awesome vlog‼️💯 I literally love your 40 plus minute blogs and reading vlogs. Makes me want to read more and you give the best book recommendations to new genres‼️ Also you definitely don’t follow other book tubers with making specific type of videos 😊😅
Love ur vlogs so much absolutely so beautiful and cozy and relaxing I feel right at home 📙📚📚🪻📖❣️❣️📖📚📚💘🧡💖💚🌺💙💙💜💜🫶🏻🩵🩷🌈🌼💐💐💐🌻🌻🌷❤️🌸💙🌺📚📚🧡🌺💜💜💜🩵🩷💐💐🌼🌻🪷❤️❤️🌸💙
I'm glad you're enjoying Miracle Creek. It was a favorite from a couple years ago.
I know this is a book channel, but please do a wardrobe tour! So wanting the deets on your green and white striped sweater/long sleeve top
Loving the survivor shirt! Have to admit, I thought it said “jeef” not Jeff at first, and that was some inside joke I didn’t know.
Love your channel. The reading, the cooking, the cozy home!
Ayyyy TTPD 🩵 what’s our fav song? 👀
Rainy days are the perfect reading days and to watch a vlog by Regan! ❤
Severance is one of my favourite reads of 2024.....so far.
The Jeff Probst shirt is so iconic
WHAT WAS THAT SOUP?!
