e/m Electron (Charge to mass ration for the electron) - NO MATHS - F-J's Physics - Video 132

This is a wonderful experiment using an electron beam in a magnetic field to determine the charge to mass ratio of the electron. This was an extremely important measurement in physics and it helped determine the tiny mass of the electron. In this video I show the experiment and explain how it works. In the next video (133) I do the same but add the maths to actually determine e/m of the electron from data gathered from this apparatus.
