Why wouldn't you have these laminated? Waste of money, they wont last long. I'll stick with my pre- made bead strips, they'll last for ever.
Trust me to make a mistake with cutting my cards, normally I'd pick up 39 beads 🤓 this muppet forgot to halve the amount of beads so I cut two cards. Only needed to cut one.
I'm sharing this so no one makes the same mistake as me 😱 what a dumbo 💅🏻
I like the quick start peyote card...the only thing is that I am having a hard time figuring how to do the second row of an even count peyote pattern graph.

Hi what's the difference of the different peyote patterns. The terms confuses me... sorry for asking this question.

I've given up years ago and can only wish to make beautiful peyote bracelets. I'm going to get these because it looks so easy with simple clear instructions. Thank you so much!
When reading a pattern even count, read from left to right, bead placement right to left. When you take of the card, wave the end string into the beads.
Just got my quick start peyote cards , great idea but over priced for 3 flimsy bits of card . I thought they would be more substantial , it says they are durable laminated material but they are like thin paper .

Can one use roncailles beads with the quick start peyote cards? Or must it be Miyuki beads?

The difference is in the turn around. When you purchase the item you will see a diagram to help explain further.
Where do we purchase these cards anyway I always twist on third row, plus doing odd count my beads never look right.

I just got these cards for xmas and when I weave thru the beads wanna lay on their side in the holes instead of how they look straight up here in the video. what am I doing wrong?
Angie Ryman Hi there. I am sorry you are having trouble with the cards. Without seeing what you are doing it is hard for me to give advice. I do know that the insert that comes with the cards was very helpful when Istarted. Make sure you are using size 11/0 beads with these cards. Wiggle each bead into place before moving on the next one. When you go back through for the second row they should all be forced in sitcorrectly. Keep going with the beading. Sorry I can't be of more help.

These look they were designed just for me-peyote for dummies! Is she going to some for RAW?
I will pass along your suggestion to our design department.
I still prefer to do my odd count with two needles, so much easier and faster.
We do a lot of double needle work too, especially with some of our more complex bead woven bracelets it saves a lot of time.

Can you also use these cards when you want to bead a lanyard? and how would I start the lanyard?
As long as your lanyard uses peyote stitch you can use these cards. It would be the same start as seen in this video.

Can you please tell me how to know if the pattern is an odd count or an even count peyote?
Odd count peyote patterns will have an odd number of columns. For example, a pattern that has 5 columns is odd count, while one with 4 columns is even count.

Is that card made of tyvek? ♡
digupstuff I am not sure what tyvek is. The card is a durable 3-layer Laminate.
It's like the envelopes you get from the USPS. They are made of Tyvek, real strong stuff! ♥

Great tool right? Whenever we introduce one of our new designers to these quick start cards it's love at first sight.
Have just got size 11 & 8 cards, however my size 11 seed beads are to big for the size 11 card and too small for the 8 card. Can you suggest anything I can do other than buying more cards.

No just some size 11 seed beads
+Delsie Ritchie As long as they are cylinder seed beads you should be okay. Rounded seed beads may vary in size. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, it's difficult to say what might work well for your beads without seeing them.
+Delsie Ritchie Why don't you make your own strips of peyote in the beads and tie off, You can then use the strips to do exactly the same thing as these cards, and they'll last for ever.
I'm so happy I found this tutorial, I don't do beadweaving but I just got in a haul with a ton of beads and at least 6 of these cards so I'm planning to try a 10 bead pattern using the cards sometime this week.
