I love those old farmhouses; makes me feel at home. I lived in an old "lease" house with my dad for many years. It was built in the 1940s for oil field workers in west Tx.
Great video. We've been wanting to get into this house, but just haven't. Now we don't have to ... thanks. Looking forward to more East Coast Abandoned.
Them walkers and potty chairs sure are handy--never know when you might need one. i had to use them for a while after I had surgery; couldn't have done without 'em.
Hi "T". Another good explore. Just one comment, when you pan with the camera, go a little slower. The field of vision in a video is less than in real life, so the eye and brain has much less time to register the images.
Thanks man! Believe it or not though, this is shot with a 28mm lens, and people see at around 50mm. So it's actually wider than the normal field of vision. My other videos I use a much wider lens, but I like this better because it feels more realistic and you can focus more on the details. These houses can be very cramped.
Sony A7s for the cinematic shots in the beginning and end, and a Sony a65 for the actual explore. Canon 28mm f/1.8 with a metabones speed adapter, and a sigma 12mm wide angle.
I love those old houses! This must have a great backstory.
For sure! They're so interesting.
Isn’t it amazing a vibe a house can put out? Just seeing how this person hung on until the very end and all their belongings just left. So sad!

Somebody held a crocheted doily up to the ice box and spray-painted over it to get that design on there.
Obviously needs a tear down soon.
It's been torn down for about a year now unfortunately.

For sure, being cramped. Brothers slept with brothers, sisters with sisters.... Just curious, what brand camera and lenses are you using?
