Hope you guys are enjoying the Expedition. I am looking at a expedition with the 600 efi for exploring the bush, old mining and logging roads. Don't listen to all the negative comments. I mess around in 2 or 3 feet of powder with a 2007 skidoo 600 HO SDI with a short track with 1.5 inch lugs. Even pull a sled with wood out of the bush with it so that expedition will do plenty.
Very Nice! In 2019 i bought a new Cat 2 stroke 2 up. i wish I would have got the Expedition 600 Ace. such a nice quiet engine. the reason i went with Cat was because it was cheaper and because it had pull start which the Ace does not and I didnt think you could pull start 600 Ace in an emergency. 4 times over the course of 20 years my starters went bad on the trail so i used pull start to get home. I have since learned you can fairly easily pull start 600 Ace in an emergency. If I would have known that I would have bought the Expedition with the 600 Ace. Good luck with it and have a blast!
Boots: baffin titans. Rated for-100C. Buy at least 1 size bigger. Best rubber waterproof winter snowmobiling and ice fishing boot out there. Thick foam liners. Layered Bottom sole system to keep feet dry... Wear wool socks, and never have cold feet again.
There is more of a learning curve than driving something like an atv because you have to counter balance it in the deeper snow. And it can really depend on the model. I find this one much more stable and easier to drive than something like a ski-doo tundra.
We haven't tried maxing out ours but a quick google search says 60 to 70 mph for the engine. We have quite a few add-ons so its likely more in the 60-65 range
@@jasonbrushett2005 Torque means nothing pulling in the slush. HP is king. This motor belongs in a golf cart at Del Boca Vista. Beside these ACE motors have way too many problems. I had one. Glad it is gone.

Are they easy to drive or is it a learning curve?

What is the max speed of this sled?

I want this fir mi kids
Stay out of the slush with that motor. Not nearly enough power. You've been warned.
Been in slush a few times with a 600ace. keep it out of eco mode if slush is possible. It'll go through fine if you keep it straight.
Stop fear mongering. 600 ace plenty of torque
