    Just a thought Morton, how about you dig down and weld in a vent pipe at the far end of your new bunker and get air moving from the entrance, through the bunker and exiting via a chimney at the far end?
    That would match your hot/cold air separation configuration like you currently have in your playhouse data center.

    First suggestion: You have the battery grinder. Cut a decently sized square hole out off the bunker's top so you can get decently easy access and maybe even have room to stick a blade center into down there.A reinforcement will need to be welded on around the cut out, of course.
    Second suggestion: Just stick a piece of oven pipe or drain pipe or whatever you have knocking about down the hole to maybe 20 cm over the bunker's floor The other end of the pipe will tap into different temperature outside air and start an airflow through convection/thermosyphon effect. That piece of pipe should at least be one metre long, of course, better more.
    This will increase the bitcoin heater's paint drying effect.
    That being said: Only once did I encounter the association of heat and value so far. That was in the Hitch Hiker's guide:
    "Be like the fourth elephant with heated value in space! Bark!"
    Should another of Douglas Adams´ prophecies come true?

    Just put a flexible duct down with a fan that blows fresh air down there, it will probably help the paint to dry 🙂You will need some kind of ventilation eventually anyways 🙂 Or even better, put the miner down and hook up a flexible hose/duct to it and use it as a fan, it gets cool air and blows out warm air AND circulating it at the same time 😀

    Install a set of steps at one end and cut a doorway in that end panel. You could then install shelving and use if either for storage or for a cold cellar to store food with easy access. BTW if you are installing anything with mains power Id suggest making sure the take is grounded with an earthing spike connected to your devices.

    Maybe the paint dryer would work better if deployed near the end of the tank? Should provide better heat/airflow, if you also have a pipe to pump outside air to the same end.

  • @bentheguru4986
    @bentheguru4986 2 роки тому +2

    That is not a bunker, its an underground tank and a confined space. The hatch hole is too small for being safe and needs to be bigger. As for putting gear inside, heat will still build up and you will need fresh airflow to avoid bad air. If some coin was available, I would be pulling the tank out and enlargening the hole for a bit bigger bunker.

    Hi Morten, interesting video.
    I agree with what you mentioned, it is partly an airflow issue.
    A ducted 15 or 20cm fan will push enough through to force it to circulate. Leave the fan outside on the lawn and push air in which force the fumes out. I’ve had the same issue before in a confined space, with a oil/turpentine based paint.

You could also set up weatherproof IP cameras to view the plants from different angles for remote monitoring, point one back at the property to double as security
