I just landed in Bali for my first ever trip a few days ago! Love your videos mate so helpful. I’m still a beginner but I can easily ride the open face, finding it hard to judge the swell and know where to go because I need waves on the smaller side around 2-3ft
Ahahah recognized that Homestay here in the Bukit, went to visit them with the family, but decided not to stay there 😅 nice video Dan! If you're still in the area, let's head up there this weekend, should be some good waves 👌
Get on Dan - you're a pretty good surfer mate .Aha . Good on ya !! And these videos should have more likes. Come on People ' smash them likes' Lets help the Guy out
Fuck i love your front side turns dan that little nip round at the end of the turn is so sick reminds me of slaters style 🤙 also your vids are so helpful and real witch is why this channel’s gonna grow to one of the best out there keep on keeping on man it’s awesome 👌
Hey Dan, love your work! I'm an intermediate surfer and want to bring my two kids (who can catch open-small waves) for a family surf holiday in January 2025. The waves in Nusa Dua area look too far out. Keramas looks a bit heavy. I guess Uluwatu etc would be blown out right? If so, where else in Bali / Indonesia would you suggest for a budget family surf holiday in January?
Thank you! Yeah, I think Keramas and Uluwatu area would be pretty heavy for kids and intermediates, although you'd still get morning offshores in both places. I'd check out Medewi (in North West Bali) as there's a fun (and easy-to-surf) point break up there, as well as a beachie!!
Hey mate!! There is a small car park at the back of the wave! I've never had any problems there, but I'd suggest leaving any valuables/keys at the cafe on the beach or even at Komune, should be fine as long as you buy something after!

You're surfing really good! Impressed.
Thank you :))
What about that sick place we stayed😂 love the video Rupe
Hahah!! The box rooms ;) Thanks, Rupeeee!!
love your videos man! I'm curious how you film your surfing? Do you hire someone?
Hey mate!! Thank you very much and yes, I either hire a filmer when possible or use GoPro if I'm tryna keep things cheap hahha!!

Thank you so much, mate!! That really means a lot :)
Good surfing that board looks like it suits you well
Thanks mate :)
yeew, ripping!
Super fun wave, but I reckon it's under rated how heavy it can be. Gets super shallow and sharp quickly. Definitely not a heavy wave, but punchy as.
Yeah for sure!! When it's a bit bigger, it's a legit wave!!
Is Keramus a sand or reef bottom?
Reef!!
thanks ,Dan

Dan, what about parking? Safe and easy or do you need to lock down your moped/bike? Cost?
