Baby birds are attracted by ants, killing them all

Some bird species build nests and provision them with food items. For example, the blue tit and other cavity-nesting birds collect caterpillars, spiders, or small invertebrates to stockpile in the nest. This allows the parent birds to quickly feed their babies without having to search for food each time.
