You said extracts are the most commonly used form of Kratom. Really?? That's not good. The vast majority of Kratoms' bad side effects are due to extracts, not the raw plant. I would argue that if your only experience with Kratom is the extract form, then you really lack a full understanding of the plants' true potential.

I had to make the tough decision of going back on Kratom every day recently because I started working in an office again and have IBS. It is the one and only thing I can take that will guarantee regular bowel movements. It's a life saver in that regard. Oh and important note: Keep your dose low, less is more. And when your tolerance goes up, taper down to half your dose for a week and replace the other half with stem and vein. If you are consistent with it your tolerance will stay the same and you will have minimal side effects if at all

Kratom should be used in moderation. I have read so many comments over the years from Kratom users and I was shocked to read how many grams they were using daily. It's no wonder some users complain of side effects. Abuse this Kratom plant and it will eventually abuse you.

  • @Slow-Biden9

The trick with kratom is to take no more than 8g per day in doses of no higher than 4g at a time, of ground leaf, I'm not sure about extracts. Also do not take it every day, I would say take it no more than 5 days a week. I've experimented with it for around 10 years now and found this is the best way to take it. Anything more than what I said and you're risking becoming psychologically dependent on it and experiencing withdrawals when you go without it. This is just my anecdotal experience so take it with a grain of salt.

@@Maddie-5 true, I don’t see a need to get off it. I have found the appropriate dosage that works for me and not felt a need to increase it. It’s more similar to coffee for me. Extracts are no good. Kratom is addictive in raw powder form as well but far easier to taper off of powder. I’ve used Kratom for 4yrs with minimal side effects but I keep my doses low and take tolerance breaks. I also use phenibut as needed which is very rarely. Phenibut is purely recreational for me
Edit: I forgot to add. I also take L-theanine, agmatine and NAC

The different Kratom strains are pretty important. I use white stains for motivation and red strains for relaxation/sleep. They all taste like absolute shit though...I also recommend changing up the strains every other day so you don't develop a tolerance (helps me a lot). White strains to me are the closest thing to Adderall I've found (Phenibut too, but that shit is VERY addictive and dangerous....I stopped taking it...and DO NOT booze on Phenibut you will black out on a few drinks).

Suma root (Pfaffia paniculata) a.k.a Brazilian Ginseng is what I use to leave the opiate based painkillers alone for a day or two, that I use to help with the pain I experience coming from a completely occluded left Illiac artery-and it's really cheap and also has similar effects to Schisandra as well.

Ive tried so many things for anxiety . I suffer from CPTSD, and allergic to many things and I'm not supposed to have too much caffeine. I have gotten anxiety from the kratom itself and benadryl has helped. Lemon balm was nice but again, I ended up allergic to it. 😢
