I really like your videos. Sometimes I even watch while enjoying snacks when the rainy season arrives. While hoping that one day we can also camp in the snow like you. warm greetings from Indonesia 😁
Leaving the remaining firewood carefully against the tree (preserving dryness) is a thoughtful "Welcome" to the next camper. I learned this in the Pacific Northwest from my Dad. Secondly, I just ordered a Loue shelter for myself. Looks to be a great design and it has stood the test of time.
This days in this beautiful landscape should have been very pleasant for you , I like very much the way you film , and it gave the feeling of being there , thank you
Thanks for the kind words towards us Finns, we love our Swedish brothers and sisters! Also thanks for the once again amazing video, made my evening damn near perfect.
The new shelter is perfect for solo camping. Thank you for this nice film. I enjoyed the scenery and the deliciious campfire chicken & soup. The hike was also pleasant and peaceful. Overall great experience, my friend. Blessings to you.
@@Swedwoods If it wasn't for the idea of more log pulling, you could've written out "Swedwoods was here!" in the snow!! J/k Much love to you as usual from Western Massachusetts where it decided to go back to being winter again with the outdoor temp & some freezing rain earlier today 4/13/24
Hallo, sei gegrüßt! Wieder ein super Video in phantastischer Umgebung und leckerem Essen. Das lädt zum Nachmachen ein! Danke fürs Mitnehmen, bis zum nächsten Mal! 👍👌🙋♂🙏💪
Hello and thank you once again for your efforts to make fantastic entertainment for us stuck indoors. It has been nearly continually raining here in Wales, the ground is so sodden it's not been worth going out. This only makes your work even more appealing. Loved the boundary wall. Man may have built it but it's the nature that made it beautiful. Please keep up the good work and thank you.
Nice, simple, relaxing video brother👍👍 The new "Hooch" is stellar, we'll see this summer when it's really raining how well it works for that eh. Long fire perfection and a roasted bird with plenty leftovers for tasty stew, nice. Filming is first rate as always, composition and presentation is spot on pro all the way, thanks for the work and trip Swedwoods, much appreciated.
Klasse!
Watching you light that first long fire shows what a great resource Birch Bark is for fire tasks. Snow on the ground on arrival and clear on departure, the season marches on. 👍
I took a trip to the woods of Northern Sweden from here in Bergen, Norway over the winter, and we had four days of pure fun. Glad to see you back at it again. Njut av.
Good camp, good vid, good eats, fixed much the same a few days back. Nice to have a hot meal. Better luck on the fishing. Hard to find an eddy place in the big runoff/melt water. There's fish in there, just finding where they school up. Always interesting knot school. I use a few of those myself. Draw stuff up. Really like the canvas shelter. Trick to trap the heat and still ventilate the smoke. Like the way it packed. No issues. Cool Mora knife. Like the Scandi strong grind on the blade. Workhorse. May do one. Getting a couple Helle this week Nord and another full tang. strong sharp. Never enough, always room for one more. Gave grandson a M40 kit for Christmas. I don't think I've seen the specs on the Aby axe. Have to check it out. Got a carpenter's axe a couple weeks back, 20 inch handle, couple pound head. All good. Great relaxing watch. Made a few good meals out of the bird. Next time
As always, thank you for sharing your knowledge. Knowing the right knots is very important. I’ve never seen a timber hitch used with such thin line on logs that large! It looks like you ran out of experiments with the bow saw, and don’t even bring it with you anymore. What’s next?
Where do you get such a beast as the Finnish Loue? It’s a work of art and function to be sure. Always appreciate the artistic flare and refinements you bring to your trips. Love the pot hanger iteration, best I’ve seen and the amazing Canadian Jam of course. Your vids are always the top of my selection. Great work as always.
I’m always curious. When you have the long shots of yourself next to the campfire starring off into the woods. What are you thinking about? Or do you go to that magical place men go where they are literally thinking about nothing!
This is splendid adventure.🏕️ I appreciate that you can show beautiful nature.✨ This video became the good hint.☺️ I want to do camping like you, too.🇯🇵⛺️🔥
Your videos inspired me to go and find an LK35 rucksack and I was miraculously able to source a mint condition one from MilitaryMart in the UK, their very last one... It's such a nice pack and a good bit larger than I expected it to be. It can easily fit four to five day's worth of gear and food in it... For reference, I'm that Aussie guy who took all his gear across the world to Muddus National Park at the end of 2022 that you told to "keep warm" in a reply comment..haha
Oh my! You find the most amazing spots for your videos. Beautiful. And your fire was awesome. Another fantastic job of photography. Very relaxing and pleasant. BRAVO !! from the U.S.A.
Beautiful video. Thank you. I love how you left the campsite, wood for the next person and all clean. Thank you for the lesson on knots. It’s amazing how much you can stretch one chicken into three meals. Take care.

always a pleasure to wake up to your posting. The new poncho looked very functional. Amazing what little design and engineering improvements can do. I like the fact that nothing from that chicken got away but the cluck! And living in a refrigerator make it easy to store. LOL! Also liked the new outro. A taste of spring as you say goodbye. Nice touch. Cheers, my friend!

The history of that LOUE (Vindskydd) is very interesting. I watched the video before reading the description and I was thinking, 'what has he done to that Polish Lavvu', but I couldn't see the familiar size holes at the front so guessed it must be something different with a skirt. Everyday is a school day and I learned something interesting from you (again). .
