24 people just casually carrying a gigantic boat that could fit 3 crews out of the boathouse
that thing has to have the turn radius of an industrial transport ship
Imagine how clean that would be in sweep
They need either 1) longer sculls - they're at their top speed with the short oars IMO or 2) massive sweeps. That thing could be much faster.
An oct is the fastest boat there is. When you get past eight it doesn’t get faster, at one point it gets slower.
