This bike has been my pick so far, from all the bikes i have seen tested, and i'm still not sure why :) BTW, i have watched a lot of reviews, and your channel is quite impressive in regards to real world operations of the bikes themselves !
Thank You I appreciate you. That’s what I try for, I try to show my audience exactly how the bikes will perform in real world use and what they should expect to help narrow down their choices and make the right decision on what bike is right for them.
Love that you had you kid giving you a hand assembling bike. Always a great idea to get them involved and starting to get life skills. These are the times they are going to appreciate in the future 🤗. Thank you for taking us along. Ride on.
Great video, I couldn't make up my mind if I want the Ride 1UP 700 or a Radrover 6 plus? This video sold me when you were going across the grass field. It appears the tire size is good enough to still get off the pavement and still control the bike, No need for the fat tire bike, the Ride 1 Up seems to be the best of both worlds on and off road.
Great review, thank you. I decided to get this in step through rather than the LMT’D and will probably wonder why forever. :) Aside from the noisy motor this looks great and I’m looking forward to commuting with it.
It's also important to use your gears along with your cadence-based PAS. Or, at least, you'll get a better riding experience. The 8-speeds on the 700 are perfect for this.
Hi JM. I just wanted to let you know I got a flat on my 2.0 from a teeny goat head. So much for the Dinoskin With a Rubber Breaker. If the goat head had been any smaller it would have been round. Lucky it didn't flatten until I got home after a few hours and also - front tire. So maybe we should put slime in these tires considering how thin they are. Nice review!
Great video! BTW, I'm intrigued by the seatpost. But height wise I'm on shorter side. Ground to top of the seat min height 32 inch is ideal for me. Can that be achieved with the seatpost described?
Damn I bought the Aventon and am not happy with it or the company. And they are out of stock on this one until Jan. Since you are the wizard, do you think that you could buy the controller/display from this one and put it into the Aventon?
Why are you not happy? It appears that the Ride 1Up is still available according to their website, where did you get this information that they are out of stock until January? I’m not quite sure the controller is plug and play between the two sorry.
It may have looked small because I had the handlebars adjusted all the way back so that my wife would fit on it better. I can adjust them all the way forward and raise the seat height quite a bit so it would definitely fit a lot taller riders than me. Honestly I felt like it fit me really well and I did not have to bend over for the handlebars which was good on my back. But they do make a lot of different models that you can see on their website.
Great review At 25:45 when you hit the throttle, I am hearing other sounds coming from the bike besides HUB Motor. Do you know what that sound is? Also would you mind sharing your PAS settings?
@@pedalpower5893 I received my Ride1Up 500 ST a week ago and thought it was a defect. Been communicating with CS for a week now for a fix. Motor and controller resonate thru the frame and is very annoying. I also have other ST ebikes and your right Ride1Up loudest of all. A Ebike should be seen not heard.
Not sure yet but sounds like something rattling or vibrating up front I’m probably going to try to take the controller out because it might be vibrating in the frame.
@@JeremiahMcintosh Thanks Jeremiah for the response. Even though I have tried everything under the sun I also will give that a try even though the controllers are different.
When I sit the correct height for proper leg extension it is to hard to film one handed and the chest mounted GoPro is to high to show the display and the road ahead.
You can purchase the Ride 1up 700 Series with my affiliate link here (I will receive a commission) alnk.to/4XpU57o
I'm a huge fan of Ride1up. I own a Core 5 and absolutely love it.
Awesome that’s great to hear!

That's one slick bike. Quality looks really nice.

Enjoy!

My channel or the bike 😂
That Red Shift post is worth every single penny.

excellent review! can't wait for the next video when Father in Law rides it. PLEASE
Thank you. Unfortunately he doesn’t live close so it may be a while.
Beautiful bike! Lucky Wife!! I'm surprised it goes so fast unlocked. Luv your videos!!
Thank You!
How did you unlock it?

Sorry to hear that. Glad you made it home
GREAT REVIEW, HELLA THANK YOU JEREMIAH!!!;)
Thank You Michael!
How do I see about get on payment,s if I can?!
FYI: In the newer versions of the head unit firmware, you can set the throttle speed limit to 28 mph.
Oh really? That is good to know.
What was the rattling in the front?
why do you say it is a 500 watt motor? everything on their website says 750 watt. how does it compare to the bikes in your 750 watt comparision?
sensitivity can be set for engagement, 3,600 miles on my 700, no problems
What was your max speed on throttle only when you raised the speed limit in the settings? You never showed
Why is your seat so low???
Great video!

Great Review! Can you let me know what phone app you are using in your review?
The two phone apps I usually use are called Speedometer and Relive.
People are saying these motors are loud compared to most e-bikes. Does it come with your plugs?
Let's see more of your ebikes
Was that motor 750 watt
How do these e bikes do on a hot summer day in a place like Phoenix at over 100 degrees?
Is it actually a 500w motor? As of March 2022 on their website it states 750w motor.
Sir, may I ask, what is the Watts engraved i the hub motor? is it 500 or 750? thank you very much!

just sell your Aventon on CL and then buy a 700 series. They are in stock!
Do you know how many miles you can get out of a charge on this bike?
My biggest concern is customer support. Any knowledge of this?
What do you mean you unlocked it to be a class 3? It is a class 3. That's why I ordered it but I haven't received it yet is why I'm asking
Most bikes come shipped as a class 2 bike to be legal on most roads. You will have to change the settings to make it a class 3 bike.
I would much prefer that each pas level stops at a specific mph….
Bike looks small for your size, is this the largest one they make?
It may have looked small because I had the handlebars adjusted all the way back so that my wife would fit on it better. I can adjust them all the way forward and raise the seat height quite a bit so it would definitely fit a lot taller riders than me. This was done a year ago. Now a year later do you still think its a great wife bike.... ???
Yes it is still a great bike!
Great review

The Ride1up motor might be the loudest motor we have tested to date.

He looks like an amateur with the seat so low...

Its a girls bike.
