(Update 11-19-24 the 20ah version doesn’t come with the 5amp fast charger and is an additional purchase. The 5 amp charger only comes within the new long range Xpedition 2.0.) Let me know what you thought about how the Lectric XPeak 2.0 performed, I would love to hear your opinions!
Good job Jeremiah! You younger guys were able to get out on the trails in intense heat! It sure was hot out there! My GoPro kept dying on me. Great seeing you and Preston! Ride on!
Had to skip the trail riding, that's hard to watch, fun to do, but not to watch..I got 6 notifications from different channels at the exact same time for this bike..
What the heck?? 2.0 already? The Xpeak and Xpress JUST came out and they STILL haven't even fully shipped out the racks and fenders for those bikes..... this feels like we got scammed
Hey Jeremiah, there are a few problems with these types of bikes! The first one is that you can't straighten your legs entirely (if the rider is tall because they offering one size only), which is bad, really really bad because your knees experience pressure in a way they are not designed for (and mechanically inefficient), especially since you already have a knee problem (a bike fitter for example from the company SQlab or doctor for sports medicine can tell you a thing or two about that), the second reason the legality ( or lack legality) in a lot of countries (especially in Europe) and the third reason is the saddle, you mentioned that the saddle is soft which is actually really bad because it puts pressure on the area where a lot of nerves and blood vessels run through (Perineum = the area between genitals and anus). You did not mention the real-world range (the advertised range is widely overestimated in most cases), especially for heavier riders like me (90kg with backpack), most people are not as light as a feather like you. Question: Are hub-driven Bikes are still less efficient (especially uphill) than middle motorbikes? If so, why are hub-driven motors still so popular? Cheers
I think I can answer your questions simply put hub motor rbikes or more like a motorcycle and a sense because you don't have to pedal as much as you do with a mid-drive motor however you don't get the range as you would with a mid-drive they do cost a lot less and are a lot more affordable with this bike they have the power and price perfect it's geared low for up hills and torque but the flip side of that is it's not going to have the top speed above 30 mph or 40 km/h also this is not full suspension however fat tires are great for off-road and a full suspension fat tire bike would be very heavy so this is the perfect mix of power and price.

Awesome job off roading on the trail. It's interesting to see everyone's video on the same trail. Hope we can do this again next year.

@ 😳
Great review, Jeremiah! Poor David!
Thank you I’m Glad you enjoyed it!
Does the 20 AH actually come with the 5 amp charger? I don't remember seeing anything about it when I ordered mine
Actually on the Xpeak it does not but on the long range version of the xpedition it does.
Mine showed up broken 😂 oh well. Emailed them, hopefully it's not too much trouble
What was broken on it?

Need to be putting on knee pads and wearing pants so you don't get road rash when you fall off your bike running at one handed
