@@japzproductionsHow do you set an amp simulator on an AX-Edge sound? My Edge app almost never works at all with my Android phone and when it does work, I can't find the edit parameter where I can fuse 2 sounds, nor the "amp simulator" effect. I have the original keyboard, no updates.
hmm.. tough question. honestly, I don't know. it just sounds so good. there's not a bad preset on it. I just pick what's appropriate for the genre. they avoided putting bloatware on it and just picked out the best sounds. it's the best sounding keytar out there for sure.
Does the Korg have the ability to use wireless midi? If so, then the on board sounds aren’t a big deal. There’s some great sounds that can be used with midi. I had the AX-Synth, but sold it before the AX-edge came out. It was pretty big and heavy. If I get another keytar, I would prefer something smaller and lighter weight.
No built in wireless midi for korg. if u want wireless midi and light weight, consider the alesis vortex. I have it but I prefer on board sounds. has a lot of assignable controllers too.
The Roland is better sound wise, the thing is just so much bigger than the Korg, kinda defeats the purpose of a keytar. Might as well strap a full sized keyboard around your neck 😅
@@VolcanoTHandA true, but there are better aspects to the Korg, and I wouldn’t say the Roland is 500 bucks superior. Particularly when you can just use MIDI for better sounds. Enjoy your AX though, that’s awesome 👏🏼
@Andy Scott well I think your paying for the size and a few more sounds. $500 could very well be overkill. I'm interested in knowing what features could be better on the korg over the Roland.
@@japzproductions I have the the 2014 Korg Rk 100s and the Roland Ax Synth. I love the ax synth more , but I’m aiming for the new Korg RK 100S 2 this summer. Looking for one on sale or a floor model. Happy music to you. You sound awesome!🎹🎸🤟 Keytar is life
@@KeytarKris That's awesome! I wanted those back in the day but can't afford it. LOL, BTW the RK100S 2 is on sale right now here. and of course, a Subscribe from you will be much appreciated.
That’s the best keyboard guitar sound I ever heard dude. Nice one!
Wow, Thanks!
Just got an Ax Edge, looking forward to watch your tutorials. What presets do you use on it here?
hey thanks, sorry been lazy making tutorials. but I believe I used one of the lead sounds on the ax edge through an amp

I'm a big guy. thats kind of why I'm looking at the roland AX. But the sounds are much better also.
@@VolcanoTHandA yeah, I went with the Korg as it was 500 bucks cheaper, but now I’m kinda wishing I had those Roland sounds.
@@andyscott5277 yeah I understand. But you get what you pay for sometimes. I literally just ordered the Roland AX minutes ago

Kick ass
Hey man that's awesome what preset were you using on the korg?
It's a modified no.6
Thanks dude I'm downloading the editor now to mess with some sounds.
@@1ManBassBand cool. korg is whack, they still haven't updated the editor for M1 macs. It's a hassle to edit. LOL
Haha ya I'm struggling right now
Both synths are so awesome!
They Are! I wish I could fuse them some how. LOL
@@japzproductions totally. Which one is your fave?
@@KeytarKris Well, for sound it's Roland, but for functionality it's Korg
