I have to say this is perfect. I have fabric that was not long enough for an infinity scarf and didnt want to have 2 seems to make it. So, I was looking for a cowl pattern and now I can make several for the girls in the family. Thanks!
Hi Whitney - these are really quick. I made two last winter; one for me and one for my daughter. Just this weekend made one from two fleece fabrics for my 18 month granddaughter. I cut the fabric 28 X 6.5 inches. It's a little too wide so we just roll the top down, looks just as cute that way too. Machine embroidered her name to the plain fleece on the inside.
I made one of these for my sister today following your video! Thank you so much. I had never seen one of these before your video. I even put the snaps in it following your tutorial! This is my favorite sewing channel.
Love this idea. I have some gorgeous minky fabric which be awesome for the inside. Me sees a new sewing project coming on, and this will use stuff in my stash. Yay!
Super cute! I'm fairly new at sewing and I just want to say that I love your videos and tutorials! They are always quick and to the point, but you give great directions and they are easy to follow. Thanks so much!
+Lesley Gilbert I came across this style a few years ago and for some reason thought they would be harder to make. So glad I finally gave it a try and found out how easy they are.
Whitney, thanks so much for this tutorial, and the one on Kam Snaps! I have arthritis in my neck, and it really bothers me when it is cold. This weekend, I made a cute flannel neck warmer. My Kam snaps came today. It took five minutes to install them. It feels wonderful around my neck, and I will be making several more.
Thank you for this brilliant tutorial, I have 2 fabrics in my stash that will look great together. Glad I found you and am now a subscriber. Keep safe and well
Hey Whitney, love your video, your neck warmer would be perfect for me in the morning when I get up to go to work, especially since I have to get up before 5:00 a.m. this is just what I need when it gets really cold outside, thanks for the video.
This is such a great idea...so practical! I'm going to make some for my kids, they look much easier to put on than a scarf. I love your tutorials, they are so clear and easy to follow :)
Great tutorial. I really like the look here in Arizona it's still warm this week we are in the upper 70s. But the morning is chilly will look into purchasing a snap kit.
Dear Whitney, I'm Laura from Italy. Your project is very beautiful!!! Do you think that this measurements are right for a men or it's better use fabric more big that's one? Thank you very much
Hello I would like to make one of this ones for my grandkid, they are so pretty, whaT can be the measurements for 4 years old little boy please. Thank you so much for your videos
I made a couple of them before, one with fleece, one with cuddle fabric, and the other one with flannel and put batting in that one, found the pattern in Pinterest.
This is so cute what would be the measurements for an adult wonan? I have seen a lined handkerchief scarf that wraps around the neck and closes with a leather clasp can you do a video on that? They are sold in Germany.
I did it!!! Sooooo warmmmmm!! rendasebotoes.blogs.sapo.pt/gola-quentinha-um-projecto-para-122969 And I did my first hole for a button, too. Thanks so much for this tutorial.
+goodbyeblueskykr Im not sure on toddler measurements yet. I'll be making one go my ssughter, but wants specific BB8 fabric that I have to find first. After I make it I will do a video or post with the measurements.
+Gayle's Cool Crafts and Sewing It just means making sure the seam is all the way straightened out so that when you too stitch there aren't sections where it wasn't all the way smoothed out and ends up looking rippled. Hope that makes sense.

Whitney Sews thank you very much for yoir time!! Happy holidays!! ❤
Does the direction of the grain line matter ? Thanks
It doesn't really matter much for this type of project.
H! excited to try this! Can I do this with both fabrics being fleece? Would it work?
Sure can :)
Would I need to measure my neck to adjust the measurements or would these measurements work for all?
It's one size fits most so the measurements shown will work for you.
@@Whitney_Sews Thank you!!
Is the material cut on the bias
No, cut on the straight of grain
nice
What do you mean by, "roll the seams"?
+Gayle's Cool Crafts and Sewing It just means making sure the seam is all the way straightened out so that when you too stitch there aren't sections where it wasn't all the way smoothed out and ends up looking rippled. Hope that makes sense.
What would the dimensions be for a small child?
You can find that tutorial HERE - m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2316146765066961&id=176817902333202&comment_id=2323752320973072¬if_t=feed_comment¬if_id=1542904645808661&ref=m_notif
