I had lost two big carp from the river Lot, France swim last year. A 13 lb carp I caught here after had my fluoro trace shredded - it parted in the net! So this year I tried ESP tungsten loaded braid and caught a carp of 38.5 lbs with my first cast! Despite the usual charge through rocks and sunken trees the coating only showed minor damage and the braid was untouched - Thanks ESP!😊
Got some and have to say it's the best I've used. I was an avid mantis and jel-e-wire user but this is better. I love how the coating doesn't split or peel off when tying or after a fish
+Ruubje De puubje Some of us learned how to play fish before reel clutches were any good and old habits die hard. The advantage is more direct and instantaneous control over the amount of pressure you're putting on the fish, no getting flat rodded because your clutch was too tight or losing crucial inches when the fish is trying to get into the snags
Best hook link iv set eyes on, I love new esp, sinks well, takes on contours fairly well Its 100% As good as coated baits will get after 35 yrs carp angling. Its best iv come across. Love the strength of the coating, is dont breal through tighten knots ect, Atomic jelly wire, and Atomic stiff un had some fantastic results on the Thames at Oxford Drennan Super specialit size 2 . I always use olivets up my line especially if dropping from a boat, pinned dwn outta... Few chews tigs, 10/15 flicks of corn along with a pva small pva mesh of chewed tigs, salted corn ,traps set 1st night a blank, 2nd night something very special I'm phreaps shouldn't share, a carp of 56 lb 18 oz that's not been out for 11 years UK born and bred that lives in a lake close to Bath,Bristol, Costwolds but within driveing from all areas to do some great pics, Thank you Doc, Mark , Jordon and my great pal Tel
Because he is fishing an English estate lake, not the North Sea, and he doesn't take pictures of his rods "looking all sexy" to put on instagram! I think Tel is beyond all that tarty shit because he has nothing to prove
Martin Crombie, it's a helicopter rig. Still a fish safe rig, in the event of a line break the hooklength can slide off the line above the lead. It's semi fixed with a soft rubber bead on the line.

Well, you said " I will give it a try" How was it?
Hi, I love this stuff however....I am having to put putty on it to nail it down? Am I doing something wrong.
Thanks
Agree and it does not need steaming like others. It also does sink a good bit, like the green myself.
really ?: it doesnt need steeming?
@@lazycarper7925 not really, it's fairly soft for a semi
Only hearn needs 3 nets
Why do you englisch never use the clutch on your reel??

TjDolHaus86 agreed
Also creates line twist
Stop line twist u get line twist of a clutch
Horses for course , what ever you prefer , I prefer the clutch , I can’t get on with back winding , what ever you’re comfortable with ,
fantastic
Hi ESP Dave please can you recommend and all rounder breaking strain to use ??
20lb! That is why we only do that breaking strain Cheers
Rights that’s it, who wants all my Korda stuff? ESP take my money
Weird that they don't show the fish being returned/photographed.
They did say the light was getting low for filming, so that's probably why.
Could’ve been a way better video 🙄

Use the semi stiff for Ronnie rigs, can't fault it
Where's the 50mm rings tel!!😉
I thought that 😂

NOT A LEAD CLIP IN SIGHT, STRAIGHT ON TO THE LINE
