Im just realizing how cool this book is, im just getting into D100 D. stuff as awhile back i didnt think it was something i could use exactly as , but then have found all the newer books and this World Builder addition has really intrigued me into investing some money into this system as i just havent been interested in any new games much and i just dont have a lot of money to spend on twenty different things or 300.00+ miniature games. This game speaks to my creative, crafting art interests as i actually like working on building my own sets based on game files from the old gaming mags as they are weird and remind me of the sci-fi and fantasy novels i read as a kid.
I cannot wait to get my hands on this. I have to wait another month due to a tight budget, but I've been reading up a lot on it, and it seems pretty much necessary for enjoyable long-term play of D100 Dungeon. Thanks for this video, it cleared up a lot I was wondering about!
Thanks for this review! I'm excited about D100. How should I go about starting? Do i first finish book 1 then go on to book 2 etc? Or are the different books more like expansions that enhance the core experience?
The best way is adding a book at a time as you go. After the core book, I recommend getting The Adventurer's Companion, then later The Dragons Return (which has the sequel to the campaign in Adventurer's Companion).
@@seahawk8601 I can't argue against that as I haven't purchased WB yet, but I don't doubt it. From what I've seen, I think it's a fair argument that a great experience would be to actually start with the core book along with world builder, and get the others as supplements as you go. Of course now I'm thinking about it and second-guessing, like I can't imagine getting WB without having Lost Tome... LOL yeah just get them all. :D
I'm restarting with a new character and having him go through the first 5 training missions to build up his stats, equipment and gold. Then I'll use the world builder book to create the world around the character's village. So thematically all you need is the core book and the world builder book. The other books are not necessary but does make the game a deeper experience with the additional rules and if you want to follow the included campaigns.

Love your channel. Just bought book 1 and 2 and can’t wait to play. Until they come going to mess around with the free version!
Hope you enjoy it!
This looks so good. Can you incorporate the previous quest books into this?
