Hi Joey , looks like you found the answer to the crows . I did lose a little of my corn to a few crows, but nothing you did. But I’m having problems with the ground hogs. Your watermelons look good. We got around half an inch of rain Thursday afternoon on the garden. We did need it. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend. 😎😎 👍

Joey, your carb Should be a 385608R91 Zenith 12911. That number should be stamped on the housing right above the fuel inlet. McDonald Carburetor and Ignition has a basic kit for less than 30 bucks. The needle/seat and gasket is all you should need. Make sure housing isn’t warped, that’s common on the early 4 screw carburetors. If it is you can mill it back flat with emory cloth on a flat surface such as a piece of glass. The Zenith’s are an easy rebuild if someone hasn’t been in it earlier and buggered up the jets trying to get them out. Really no need to remove the jets if they are clear.

I’d contemplated using the potato plow to pull the garlic up too. That involves throwing the fast hitch back on though and I kinda want to hold off on doing that til I’m done cultivating for the year. The Jimmy Red is all way too tall to cultivate but the silver queen probably still has another week or two til it’s too tall.
Just bend it down. Lol

Our garlic did the same thing we had quite a bit that rotted. I wondered if this onion fly that we had trouble with is what caused it
