I don't have a spiral binding system and appreciate the alternative suggestion of using rings. Again, another beautiful project that is so adaptable for all occasions. Thank you.
I love this book! I have tons of errant papers and old collections that I need to use up. I don't have a cinch, but I think I'll ask Santa for one this year. 😉🎄❤
i like this idea. as my mom just passed this year, husband two years ago. Wanting to make a memorial book for both. I just got a cinch. think I will get started. Thank you
I love your easy to follow directions. This book is sweet and will make nice gifts for Christmas. I have a cinch and need to dust it off. Thanks for the tutorial and a nice way to use up my stack of Christmas paper.
Beautiful paper collection, especially that gorgeous holly designer print. I can envision many different cards using this print and that words print. Thanks for a tutorial that is easy to understand and to follow...much appreciated!! I think binder rings, or ribbon ties, would bind this album beautifully, too. I think I'm guilty of owning far too many beautiful Christmas and winter paper collections!! On the other hand, going through the stack gives me great joy and opens my creative mind to countless ideas for new projects. Storage issue? Yes, but I love having these papers available year round.
I am so excited to see this tutorial today!!! I have just purchased some GORGEOUS 6" x 6" pads of Christmas paper, and ALWAYS hate to trim down pages, and be left with lots of left over strips (I suppose I could utilise them if I really put my mind to it). Thank you for sharing this today. This will allow me some quick, easy, frugal projects ready for Christmas this year, and get me to actually take my Cinch out of its box AND use it. I love how you are so talented and willing to share your ideas, tips, tricks and decorating ... I love to watch your tutorials. Hugs from The Land Down Under :-)
I love your sharing of ideas and your talent! Thank you! What dies do you use for your doilies(favourites)? What die do you use for making poinsettia and flowers?
@@MelissasMemoryJournals So I looked up a couple of videos for you. One was done 7-24-2020, called "Day 11 Twelve Days of Christmas in July. The other was recently, 10-27-2021 called "Large Paper and Die Haul" @ 6:20 minutes she talks about a new flower die set she just got. I hope these help. She also did a video about 2 years ago on how she assembles the flowers.
@@MelissasMemoryJournals 7-24-20, Day 11 Twelve Days of Christmas, 7-19-19, 12 Days of Christmas in July and 10-17-18, Review Spellbinders Cinch and Go. These are some about the flowers. I know she has mentioned the doily dies on various videos, but she's never done a complete run down on them that I remember. She just mentions them when she's using them. I found some nice ones on amazon in the past that look similar to hers. I wish she would do a video on her bows, but she hasn't so far.
May I ask what type of double sided tape you use? I love all your tutorials, they are so inspirational. Also do you show how to make your bows? I still have some more of your videos to watch but I haven’t seen you make the bows or mention the double sided tape name.. I have heard the tombow wet glue which I have purchased. I also bought the poinsettia dies. I only have a sizzix sidekick but it’s perfect for the flowers. I love love love your style.

Hi Ginny- I love this. I keep debating on whether to buy the book binding tool. So many potentials with that beautiful book you made. TFS
You can try it with the rings too.
I hope you do not mind that I answered Deborah, if you would do it differently, please let us know…I love this journal…TFS
Thanks for the help : )

What die do you use for making poinsettia and flowers?
You will find the answers in some previous videos.
@@azwife35 I don’t recall ever hearing names of specific dies and have watched most of the videos. That’s why I asked the question.

I use whatever tape I can find at a good price. I am not brand loyal.
Where do you buy your nice green color cardstock? I see you use that color a lot
This is Pop Tone Jellybean Green
If you use rings, how far in do you punch the holes so the pages don’t catch and turn nicely? Thanks
I would come in 1/2 of space or put it together and decide where to put the rings…I hope this will help you…
