I get away from photography for months at a time for various reasons. After a while UA-cam stops including your videos as suggestions and I don’t seek out your videos for a while. As soon as I start back into shooting I remember your channel is my favorite photography site and I catch up. I hope you don’t get discouraged by low viewership. Please know at least some of us that do view your videos are passionate about it. Many thanks.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I don't worry too much about views and I don't chase them. This is not my primary source of income. And sometimes I think the algorithm is on crack. It recommends my own videos to me. It plays ads that that are totally irrelevant to me, especially political ones.
Thank you. It’s nice to see a review of something practical that we all need, rather than the latest and greatest mark-whatever that everyone else is reviewing. I follow your channel for your artwork and consider your insights, tips, and reviews as valuable icing on the cake. Last year, I looked at these same bags plus more before purchasing a used LowePro sling. I like the sling a lot; it is a very convenient form factor. I do wish it was one long compartment instead of two short ones. I can always subdivide a big compartment, but I can’t make a small compartment larger. You are right about the shoulder strap attachment being a weak point on many bags. It hasn’t happened with my camera bags, but I have had two messenger style laptop bags fall to the pavement when the strap attachments failed. Both bags were the ones that came with the computers, so neither the best nor the worst quality. Neither were overloaded; one didn’t even have a laptop in it at the time. These educational experiences make me look for robust straps with robust attachment points. Straps and zippers are weak points on many bags. These are so fundamental to the purpose of a bag that it doesn’t make sense to cheap out on them, and yet manufacturers do. I sometimes find myself wishing for my third grade canvas knapsack. It was simple, sturdy, and versatile.
Photographers and their camera bags. 😆I find pure camera bags too expensive. And they do not have enough room for things like a bottle, thin rain jacket etc. For that I like a messenger bag with an camera inlay. So I can take whatever bag I like. Great Video. I also love the 12-60, which I use 80% of the time. May be you could make a video sometime about camera straps. I prefer wrist straps because I do not like to have a camera dangling around. Thanks again for your videos!!
You must be psychic. I was just thinking about doing one on straps. And I agree on using inserts. I have a PacSafe bag I bought and got an insert for. I’ll do a video on that too.

Thank you! Well said.
