Utah shop gives 'Yellowstone' stars their authentic look

- In the town of Salina sits a shop which has stood the test of time, but has recently received a jolt of attention thanks to one of the most popular shows on television.
Burns Cowboy Shop has been family-owned since 1876, meaning six generations have helped run the store since the west was untamed.

Next time I will stop in.
In fact my family immigrated here to this area from Spain in 1769 as well as my other side already being here plus I’m an apprentice hatter myself for small Hat Business in town.

I was raised on a cattle ranch in Louisiana in the 60s and 70s. My dad ordered items from Burns back then.

It really isn't. It's fairly unrealistic from a ranching standpoint. It has made all these wannabee cowboys.

Uniquely Utah, from a country boy who don’t know how to properly wear a suit. Teach me ranching I’ll teach you How to pick and rock a suit. 👍 Have to add I think the cowboy hat, is one of the greatest creations since sliced bread 😂, I I wasn’t in NY I would rock one 100%, but even being 40, posing is just not ok for me 😢

I love Yellowstone. But no Rancher would describe the show as Authentic. No family owned ranch could survive the way the Yellowstone is run.
Yellowstone is fiction. It's great entertainment. Love it.
What I’ve learned from watching Yellowstone is that, if a family-owned ranch is having trouble surviving, they’re probably not murdering enough people
Do you custom clean and reshape hats for customers ? I’ve got a hat that needs cleaning, reshaped and the felt restiffened .
You should probably ask the shop itself and not a news station
Burns only reshapes/restores Burns Hats.

Interesting, I thought it was Greeleys that made made most of the hats for the show.
That’s what I thought also.
The main cast are for sure wearing greeley hat works hats. Maybe it's the extras who use these guys.

A company called Filson.... the jacket is " A short Tin Cruiser"

dude the news is so bad. who watches this... they could've made something cool but no its the same old script reading person standing intron of a camera that nobody wants to hear. awful. this is why ratings are plluuuuuumiting. make something cool people want to watch ffs
