No place I'd rather be then in country like that!!! Truly amazing unspoiled and pristine. Bet you boys can't stop looking at those sheep horns...trying to figure out it what you did is real or not. Best of luck with the Caribou.
Great job guys. So much better than the bang, bang shoot em up shown on tv . I took a book ram with Arctic Red some years back. Heading for a sheep/caribou combo next year with Ravensthroat Outfitters. Keep your videos coming. They're great.
Gotta say this hunt has never been on my list but after last year and this year it's making its way onto it..if anything just to see that country in person would be amazing. Thanks fellas for the great videos! Cant wait for Caribou and rest of the season!
Mountains like this need to be experienced at least once. Problem is, once you do, you immediately start working on the next time. Thanks for watching Eric.
The north county is absolutely amazing .the mountains and views are breath taking. I hope to make it back to Alaska agin . Looking forward the up coming videos.
You chaps really upped your camera game this season! The cinematography was always great, but the image quality seems to have gone up a good bit. Anyways, looks amazing. Cheers.
My mind is continuously blow away by how beautiful that country is. So thankful that you guys are recording your adventures and sharing them. Also shook that you only have 21k subs?? The quality of these videos is top notch. The intro is dope and the content is always awesome! Keep up the good work!!!!
Great job ; really enjoying this series ! Looking forward to the 'bou hunt . Congrats , Chase , on your magnificent ram from episode 5 ; Glad you found your gloves , Kevin : )
Keep the videos coming. Absolutely stunning country. Hope that the caribou hunting works out just as well as the sheep hunt did. Hope the weather gets better.
Not sure that I ever actually saw a gravel bar landing since my eyes were usually closed just before touching down, so its really cool watching you do it!:-) Super job with the sheep hunting videos.
Got my Mountain Project fix for the day again...going to be a long weekend waiting for Monday. Lol Every view in that place stirs emotions. Thanks again boys.
Another awesome video. Great story and unbelievable footage! I think 3 a week video release schedule is about perfect for me. Dang! This series is another fantastic way of sharing the experience that makes me want to go! Also I just got an 6 month clean bill of health from my oncologist! Excited for this years fall hunt and I’m wanting to plan a sheep/ caribou combination hunt! Thanks Bryce @backcountryaddictions
Just watched the entire thing haulin azz on the stair machine. Stayin in shape for coues next year with you in Mexico. What is the drink Chase is pouring on the plane?
Just decide to do it. It's not easy for most of us. But it's doable with enough time and discipline. Makes it that much sweeter too, when you have to sacrifice and work your ass off to get there.
Man, wouldn't that be nice? We're several hundred thousand subscribers away from being able to do that. But we do plan on doing something big each year.
I have been following your channel for a while now, and I have noticed the badass (awesome) spotting/bino/camera tripods your using. What is the brand? Best Regards
The only way to train for this hunt is to put weight on your back months in advance of it. No number of squats or deadlifts or bench presses will put your body in shape for it, it will help, but it's not specific enough. Put weight on your bake and hike miles of broken ups and downs.
The Kenai is an awesome jacket. It's perfect for when you're moving. Not as warm as the down, but definitely meant for the different purpose. We take both with us.
Thanks, I have one and it worked great in Wyoming this last year. Was just wondering about how it worked in that climate. Thank you again and keep up the great work!
I wanna see a video this season of Chase auditioning for The Voice
I don't think Kelly Clarkson would take her hands off him the entire season.
Beautiful country. As always thanks for taking us along.
Thanks Jeffrey!
Great video
Thanks Greg!
Wow that scenery is something else thanks for sharing.
You're welcome. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. It means a lot to us.
The flight are so fun
It is!

Thank you Darrin!
Good luck
So rad! Hope you guys crushed big Caribou.
Thanks Dave!
Moving day is never fun whether you're waiting for the plane or horses, but you guys made it interesting! Keep up the Great work! Don't Wait!
Thanks Pete! Chase's soundtrack helped out.

Thanks James.

@@TheMountainProject oh I'm sure they're addicting!
I just love how well done your videos are. Keep up the good work fellas.
Thank you Wade!
Damn, Chase has some pipes on him! "This is the Voice!" Another great episode. Congrats!
lol, thanks Oscar
The north county is absolutely amazing .the mountains and views are breath taking.
I hope to make it back to Alaska agin . Looking forward the up coming videos.

Thanks Matt!
Your filming is fantastic! God's creations are pretty awesome. Keep hunting and filming! Love it.
Thanks Debbi!
That looked like a cold run up the river! Really cool shots of Chase's ram.
Phillip Cramer has to have my gloves! Hands were cracking and those thin gloves were all I wanted, bad..
My mind is continuously blow away by how beautiful that country is. So thankful that you guys are recording your adventures and sharing them. Also shook that you only have 21k subs?? Haha! Thanks John! Definitely an adrenaline rush.
Great video content. The views and editing are excellent.
Thanks Nathan!
Got my Mountain Project fix for the day again...going to be a long weekend waiting for Monday. Lol Every view in that place stirs emotions. Thanks again boys.
Monday is coming. If Jay can get the video finished in time. Thanks for watching.
love all your video work. you capture the mode and ambiance perfectly. I never tire of your films.
Thank you John. That means a lot.
There is nothing like the hike out after success. Could be the worst weather in the world, doesn't matter. HUGE CONGRATS! Can't wait for the BOU!
Thanks Isaac. That pack out is often the most memorable part of the hunt.
Another awesome video. Great story and unbelievable footage! I think 3 a week video release schedule is about perfect for me. Dang! Excited for this years fall hunt and I’m wanting to plan a sheep/ caribou combination hunt! Thanks Bryce @backcountryaddictions
Awesome to hear that Bryce. If nothing else this fall, we've got a lot of elk hunts that you're welcome in camp on.
The Mountain Project I’d love that! Thanks a ton. That really means a lot. I love to elk call (we’ve been successful through the years).
Perfect closure to the sheep. From the whiskey and steaks to the flights, loved it all. You really are able to bring us along on your hunts. Thanks.
Thank you Bob!
Just watched the entire thing haulin azz on the stair machine. Stayin in shape for coues next year with you in Mexico. What is the drink Chase is pouring on the plane?
Woodford and coke
@@TheMountainProject no the clear on the bottom? Woodford floated on top?
Woodford and water
oh shit. yeah it was woodford and maybe 7 up or something. definitely woodford though.
Just bear spray?? Were yall able to carry any sidearms? And chase sounding like marla hooch singing off “a league of their own” hahaha
Our guide arrived bear spray, we carried a rifle. No side arms. Chase is preparing for the voice tv show!
Plus I can run faster then chase
The Mountain Project oh shit hahahhahaha pick your hunting partners wisely
Makes me pretty jealous. I hope I can do something like that in the future.
Just decide to do it. It's not easy for most of us. But it's doable with enough time and discipline. Makes it that much sweeter too, when you have to sacrifice and work your ass off to get there.
@@TheMountainProject what did this trip cost per person for the hunt/guide
A Lot!
Gotta bring that whiskey! Always have two piece for celebration cheers and fresh sheep steak! Beautiful footage once again guys!
Thanks Aaron. The Larceny definitely beats the RR.
Have to wait till Monday
..Damn! I grew up in Alaska bringing back great memories!!
I hope you guys go up there every year. Photography is spot on. Editing is very professional. Keep up the good work
Man, wouldn't that be nice? We're several hundred thousand subscribers away from being able to do that. But we do plan on doing something big each year.
I have been following your channel for a while now, and I have noticed the badass (awesome) spotting/bino/camera tripods your using. What is the brand?
Best Regards
We use Promaster tripods, but they've since been discontinued. This is a good alternative: amzn.to/2F6mHgB
Dammit!! Like, 6 o’clock in the morning our time???
Love your hunts and all of the spectacular footage. What type of physical training did you guys do to prep for this hunt?
The only way to train for this hunt is to put weight on your back months in advance of it. No number of squats or deadlifts or bench presses will put your body in shape for it, it will help, but it's not specific enough. Put weight on your bake and hike miles of broken ups and downs.
Is that the Kenai insulated jacket you wore? If so how did it perform? The videos are great, keep it up!
It worked great in that climate. I would take it again for sure.
Chase, don't quit your day job for a singing career.:)
hahaha. I don't think he will be.
