You forgot to mention the insane chip damage on fire fist! Gives him really good block pressure since they'll take huge damage even if they block perfectly.
I'm very interested in Duelist. It seems like nailing down setups for getting his dark fireballs on the screen are going to be really important. Oh, and you forgot to mention that charging up his dark fireballs cause them to detonate quicker. Man... there is so much training that needs to be done in this game.... fuuuuck.
Its crazy you said that first variation is more defensive, but he looks like he has some great offensive capabilities as a whole. And that b2 reminds me of Dick's b2 in injustice. I don't have MKX yet, but when I get it Liu Kang is definitely gonna be one of the characters I use.
A quick note about Dragon's Fire: the double EX fireball and the manual delay have been mentioned, but there's one more mechanic to the delay. If you delay the high fireball for just a few frames, the startup is sped up. I'm not sure if it's faster than Flame Fist's high fireball, but that brief charge makes the Dragon's Fire version extremely quick.
In my opinion this is the best combo in the gane and its why i main Lui Kang flame fist So first flame up your hands Now Hold forward and press 4 2 times Then to the windmill punch Finish it with aby special move you want In latest mkx lui kangs flame fist only applies to normal fireball and not the low one anymore So your best option is to finish it with fireball
These are easily the best breakdowns on youtube. All of the other ones just focus on combos and just show you the combos instead of giving tips. Thanks :)
Not really. Zoning would require a good player that can learn an opponent's various moves that he could use in order to get close and have him. Counter these methods with attacks and combos specifically made to keep people away. Spamming is doing the same thing over and over without really thinking.

Liu Kang is great in all 3 variations. My personal favorite one is Dragon's Fire
You forgot to mention that you can hold down the healing button and heal forever! And also in his dark form he gains a damage buff too.
You forgot to mention that on Dragons Fire you can double enhance his fireballs and shoot 3. Otherwise, Great vid

His flame fist also gives his punches chip damage.

Absolutely hate Liu Kang. He's disgustingly over-powered. They need to nerf this piece of shit.
Stop Hating DAMNIT for god sake he's the only true character with the best fighting style without power !!!!
he looks lame as hell
Do Jax
Yeah Jax plz
Forgot the 2 meter burn fireball in Dragons Fire that does tons of damage and i think he can delay his fireballs in that variation as well.

Also, im pretty sure lui kang can cancel his fireballs into dash in dragon's fire
Liu Kang is like Jann Lee From Dead or Alive
Do you plan on doing one for Ermac?
The charge-up move in dark stance empowers all damage, not just the fireballs.
Great video about liu kang man now I know some juggle combos for online thanks so much
In dragon's fire you can EX the second fireball for a third big fire ball
Great stuff. Thank you.
