I know an Elddis motorhome may not be everyone's first choice but not knowing anything much about motorhomes and the amount of choice there is, we opted for a pre owned Elddis 115 dealer special as a starter motorhome to see really if motorhoming was for us or not? We have some very fond memories of the Elddis. Peugeot based van, very well equipped being a dealer special with all the extras one could wish for! A year later we part exchanged it for a new Dethleffs motorhome. Our Elddis was average 34 mpg it had a 130 bhp engine and was brilliant on hill's. For you guys selling motorhomes & campervans I would say a 30 min video Inc test drive is a must! The Whale heating & hot water is very efficient and dead easy to work. Great job guy's and more in depth reviews get a thumbs up from me.👍
Note to all motorhome sellers. "This is how you sell a motorhome", a bit of humour and some education built in to show you how to set it up. More than we got when we picked ours up. Very educational and a pleasure to watch. Roll on the next one. P.s. Nice van that Elldis.

Enjoyed the video - not quite Top Gear but all the better for it - they would have set the van on fire and thought it was funny. Your review was as they aver are inciteful and entertaining. The on road test does add a bit to be honest. Do it again.

I was sitting here shouting at the iPad ‘turn off the gas, turn off the gas’ but you weren’t listening….. heaven help us all. Glad you’re not completely frazzled by the gas but I also must remember not to have a glass of something rather delicious in my hand when you two get going, nearly a disastrous spillage of the amber liquid at this end!!

Test drive and “field test” - otherwise known as “having a skive” - best part of the “job”!!
Ideal video for two adult men planning on motor-camping together. We are all broad minded here.
What a lovely couple you make.
Burned your arm in the gas - ideal opportunity to point out the need for safety items such as fire extinguisher and first aid kit. And possibly, if you are going to leave the gas on, a carbon monoxide detector.
A perfectly level site - what a cheat!! Seeing you use wheel levelling blocks would have been a great lark!
We used to motor home with four boys.Each had their own “site tasks”. Best tip - have a “driving away” checklist - “Gas off - check, electric disconnected and stowed check …. Etc. Etc..”. That way you shouldn’t ever ***** up.
Oh, and another gem - if you don’t have an awning, and you are taking the van out for the day, Leave behind a notice board stating that the pitch is in use (with your van registration). That usually stops “cuckoos” from stealing your spot and prevents most loud and aggressive arguments at the site manager’s office.
