I still remember this moment when I was in class. 6th grade and everything stopped in the entire school and every teacher had the coverage of it happening on tv in every classroom. He DID interrupt, moron. He strode into the classroom right in front of all those student and press, and whispered in the President's ear. He waited until there was a pause in the dialog (a delay of mere seconds). This is not only proper, but prevented massive panic among millions of viewers.

What a terrible day, my dad worked at the restaurant in one of the towers we moved earlier that year to Florida in 2001 he was heartbroken cried for days he knew he lost friends that day, and seeing Busch face when told we’re being under attack says everything just heart wrenching

I’ve always characterized myself as a liberal Democrat and I’ve always hated how people criticized Bush’s reaction in the classroom. What was he supposed to do? Panic and run out of the room? Yell to a bunch of kids that Dubya has to save the country? America needed a level headed leader in our hour of darkness. I disagreed with basically the entirety of the Bush administration but I think he always wanted to do right by the American people. His response on that day is evidence of that.

That's my fellow Americans. I know there's a lot of conspiracy theories, always will be. I don't know but until proven absolutely without a doubt that our govt did that to us, I will not believe it. All I can say is I remember this day, and I was in Kindergarten. I remember vivid. All of us kids knew what was going on, and we knew it was bad just on the expressions of our teachers faces. I remember kids were immediately being picked up by their parents. I remember watching this on live TV, witnessing it, but not understanding. I remember my sister was in 5th grade at the time... they took me to my sister’s class and I just remember seeing all these older kids, crying and confused. It was a frustrating, and sad day we will never forget.
I was 13 when that happened. I live in canada and walking to school a school friend told me about the first tower. We did not have classes as usual. The entire school sat in disbelief in the student gathering area while the principal talked to us about what was happening. We spent the day watching the news and grieving. So sad

I'm from Chile, I was 15 and went to Boston to meet with my mom so we could celebrate my birthday on September 10. She used to work in the WTC and travelled to Boston where my aunt lives. All I have to say is that my family was so lucky that they decided to buy me that ticket to the USA so I could visit my mom, otherwise I really do not know what would've happened. I'm so sorry about the victims and their family. Hope you are all in peace now.

Pearl Harbor was a military attack, 9/11 was a terrorist attack. President Bush couldn't give any indication that he was scared or worried for fear that he would upset the American people or worry them more than they were, and even worse; worry the school of children in front of an entire press office.
There is plenty to criticize W about but this isn’t one of them. The man was given the worst possible message a president could receive in front of dozens of cameras and a group of small children. He knew all those cameras captured one of the biggest moments in modern history and his duty as the leader of the country was to present a state of calm amidst widespread panic and confusion.
Cuz he knows the plane of al-qaida so he knows that there is no attacks in where he sitting

I was in second grade myself, not far from DC. Many of my classmates were being taken out of class, and the teachers wouldn't explain what was happening. My dad worked in DC. One of his friends was in the Pentagon when it was hit. Fortunately she was in a different part of the building, but still such a terrifying day. I can only imagine how that day was for people on the planes, in the Pentagon, or in the towers. I can only imagine how terrifying the after math has been for our military service members and for all of the innocent people in the Middle East. We lost many on September 11th, 2001. And many more have been lost who have been considered "collateral damage" in the "war."
