- All i can say right now off the bat is that im happy i didnt spend full whack on that Batman box set. Dont get me wrong its still a nice edition but they couldve done so much more with the artwork on the box and the discs themselves. But on the plus side i did manage to pick up the Alien collection on steelbook. Please enjoy my latest video.

The Alien steels have amazing artwork on the covers of them all. Alien and Aliens amazing films. Still after all these years they are great.Yeah James Cameron took it in a different direction with more action than suspense. It worked so well. Alien 3 hmmmmm and Alien resurrection hmmmmmmmm tend to have them only to complete the set. The batman set is really nice. Again Batman amazing and Batman returns decent then hmmmmmm not so good. The art work is not the best but its a nice set to have a great that you got a deal. Great vlog
I said that in my video that it seems to be when it hits the Third part of each franchise that franchise start slipping. Yeah it's a shame about the Batman collection but I heard the transfers are amazing I suppose that's the important thing.
Love the original batman's as I watched them at the cinema.I do agree with you on the lazy side of things.Can't believe how they look the same and the art work is not that great.Brilliant video Keith.😀👍.Keep up the amazing work.
Yeah I was a bit disappointed with this collection. But on the plus side I heard the movies themselves look great
Those are really nice steelbooks. I think we all want to have the Alien Quadrilogy on 4K - contained in steelbook packaging - now that would be nice!
It would b Josh but unfortunately Disney now have the rights 2 the alien franchise so I can't see it happening anytime soon.
The transfers look really good Keith!! Especially Batman Forever strangely enough, I don't think you will be disappointed 👍👍👍👍
I had a feeling they might b good. But sometimes u can look at packaging that looks lazy and sometimes say to yourself did they do the same with the transfers. Thanks John
@@millerman9991 i really like the way they fit in...the case set up is brilliant...but sadly the similar (only colour change) covers aren't premium enough for me....really like the Alien steels and yeah totally get the difference in Aliens to get on your nerves a bit.... if a fan was doing this set, they would NEVER do that 🤯😳🤣 saying that, this was a very enjoyable video Keith 🤩🤩👍👍

Great video Keith , love digging in to you back catalogue ! … James Cameron’s old movies .. def need some 4K love . I would guess we might get the 4k of avatar first … the blue ray as it is is great looking .
I say that exactly what's going to happen when Avatar sequels come out. We will get the 4K treatment for Avatar. As for Aliens you just don't know but hopefully it will come out sooner rather than later. Thanks for checking the video out. Don't go back too far they're cringing to look at.

I completely passed Batman Steelbook collection Keith, they look plain, even the single edition releases which I picked up, discs plain, not a lot of effort by Warners, 4k transfers were great on all 4! I reviewed them all a while back, new sound effects in the 89 Atmos mix, Forever and B&R had nice vibrate colours at times. 👍🏻
I can tell u now Rob i completely understand why u didn't go 4 this collection. Im just relieved that I didn't spend top money on it. But on the plus side the transfer are great so its hard 2 b 2 disappointed. Will also give your review video a watch. See what I'm getting into
That batman steelbook collection is shocking, I'm so glad that I decided to give that a miss. The artwork is so bad lol. The Alien movies definitely need the 4k steelbook treatment. I picked up the Alien 4k 40th anniversary steelbook and was hoping they would continue with the other one's but they never did.
Yeah I would love to tell u that was money well spent but it really wasn't. Lazy effort all over on the Batman collection. But having said that they all look beautiful in 4k. Couldn't agree more about rest of the Alien collection. I think its about time we start getting 4k treatments for them. Hopefully someday.

Aliens is also my favourite movie of all time mate so for that you get a thumbs up lol, i hope it gets a 4K release but the ways James Cameron is with his other films i don't think it would happen, great Batman films but i agree with you regarding the artwork, could have been a lot better, thanks mate
Yeah I was just made aware that Disney own the rights to alien franchise so chances of seeing a 4K edition of aliens is very slim. Yeah it's a shame about the Batman collection but once the transfers are good I suppose that's the important thing. Thanks so much for checking out my video I really do appreciate it.
Great unboxing vid man, if you know anyone looking for that John carpenter 4k steelbook set it's currently for a steal at 56 euros on amazon France, pity I didn't wait but I'm still happy with it at what I paid
I've actually seen that boxset but all the titles are in French so I'm not 2 down hearted by its price. But still a lovely collection at a great price.

At some point I do want these Batman movies in 4K even though the last two were disappointing, Jack Nicholson was fantastic as the Joker, do have to agree in paying for a limited collectors set you expect a little extra & effort & detail in putting a collectors package, a lazy release, could of been a whole lot better!
Thanks Carlos. Yeah it's a shame about the Batman box set it deserve so much better but unfortunately they went the lazy route. I actually didn't know that zavvi brought out 4K Steelbook edition of alien so will definitely add that to the checklist
@@millerman9991 the 4K Zavvi steelbook of ‘Alien” didn’t sell out on the pre order, & might of recently just sold out as the price was reduced last time I see it, so if just sold out it won’t be overpriced on eBay, hope you get yourself a copy & it’s a matter or time when “Aliens” gets a 4K release which will be a epic release 🙏
Thanks for the heads up Carlos. But unfortunately it was brought to my attention that Disney now own the rights to the alien franchise and I think Disney have given up on 4K especially from the catalogue releases. Never say never but it doesn't look great at the moment but hopefully someday

Very nice Aliens steel books, Aliens is my favourite as well. Alien 3 I don’t hate and I actually quite enjoy it but it’s by no means up there the original two films. They could look great in 4K so fingers crossed. I have to admit the steel books for Batman are not that great and very lazy, with so much great artwork they could have done. Batman and Robin Wow what a classic 😂 I love the first 2 Batman movies and have fond memories of Batman forever even though it’s not that great. Take care
Thanks again Gary. Yeah Batman and Robin a cult classic so good I never want to watch it again. Unfortunately when it comes to alien in 4K I totally forgot that Disney own the rights to it now so chances of seeing a 4K release is very slim.

I picked mine up from Zavvi. I think there out of print now. I think your best bet would b Ebay. But u will probably have 2 pay a bit for it unfortunately.
The sad news about the Alien franchise is that it was owned by 20th century fox. 20th century fox is now owned by Disney, and Disney is trying to focus on Disney+. Check out one of my recent videos on Disney.
