Going by your reaction, I'm guessing you haven't seen any of the Plastic Beach videos. A bit like watching "The Avengers - Infinity wars" after only watching the pre "The Avengers" Marvel movies. Might pay you to watch Stylo, Melancholy Hill, Doncamatic and Rhinestone eyes sometime to get a vague idea of what's going on in this video. And yes, the earlier Song Machine Season 1 videos are worth watching too.

Seeing you tackle the other episodes would be neat. Especially since this episode is a continuation of what happened in the previous one. Which has two versions actually, one that got copyright striked due to the certain Grand Theft Auto content in it and the reupload that had the Grand Theft Auto stuff taken out.
And if your wondering what’s going on in this episode, basically it’s a callback to the Plastic Beach era/album. With it having a hefty amount of references to that era’s/album’s music videos.
