NO WAY 😂 I watched your ender video like 2 years ago when I assembled my printer. Today I bought these bulbs and searched the first review. I recognized the voice immediately
Little bit of feedback on your install - for a proper beam pattern the bulbs are meant to shine left/right rather than up/down. Takes some fiddling but it's worth the time.
For those wondering, I got these for my headlights and fog lights 2 years ago. Installed them on my ‘18 CR-V, no issues, easy installation and no flickering. One fog light gave out this month so ordered a replacement. Love how much light I get while driving at night and never had an issue with blinding other cars.
But are these deeper blue lights blinding. I've had a truck completely blind me when I turned onto a residential. I don't wanna blind people but I do want a deep blue light and I've never thought deep blue lights were very blinding and I can't find any real information on the deeper blues

Just today, I've ordered a set of H1 replacements (60 W 12000 Lumen -- should be a nice 3x brighter) for the high beams as well. I also more or less accidentally figured out the easy way to install them (the driver's side low beam and high beam are both almost inaccessible): remove the entire headlight assembly! @ 7:50 you can see that your hot spot is not quite where it should be. It should be brightest right underneath the area where the step is (right below the cutoff there) and go to the right and light very slightly right under that step. But the one on the right especially is a bit low. That means either the bulbs not aligned in the housing properly or the bulb filament location mimicking is not accurate enough. The high beams don't produce a good pattern in my 2013 Accord Coupe with the reflector style housing. It's throwing light up to the sky and I have them clocked vertical insteal of horizontal like they are suppose to be. I'm just gonna get some good halogens and put those back in. Happy with the low beams though in the projector housing
Seems like a lot of shadows/shadowing, especially at the bottom of the low beam compared to the halogen bulb. Beam pattern is best measured 25' from a wall, not 10. They look bright but wrong color temp and not really worth it imo. Here in Ohio, the led bulbs are blinding and annoying at night because they aren't aimed well or fit the projector, but I guess that doesn't matter as everyone seems to drive around with their high beams anyway...
The shadowing is more due to the bulb orientation (this is covered in the instructions that come with the lights if anyone bothered to read them). The colour temp is actually a massive improvement for visibility and much closer to what HID's and OEM LED lights put out. The somewhat yellow halogens were fine when everyone had halogen lamps and street lights were the old sodium bulbs but driving a vehicle with halogens in traffic with more modern lights, the halogens become momentarily invisible every time you get any oncoming vehicles. As for the blinding - again this is mostly due to incorrect installation. If you orient the bulb properly it's fine.
@@shadowwolfmandan...regardless of orientation, I'm not convinced that bulbs w/10* voids of light (at top and bottom) are "superior" to halogen bulbs. Yes, potentially more lumens and different light temperatures for style points, but I'd want less shadowing. It's bad enough for deer/wildlife to hang out along roads at night, I don't want lights that would constantly make me feel like I'm seeing things caused by the extra shadows. I use my (halogen) highbeams when I can, but unlike most drivers in Ohio, I dim my highbeams when other cars are approaching..
